Leider hat es geregnet. Rhodos ist nicht angenehm für Leute die nicht viel laufen können (Knie) Tavernen alle sehr lecker und sehr freundlich. Nicola 5 Extra Sterne Das Haus könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Ansonsten alles okay.

Excellent Location

Beautiful view of the beach with private pool. Lots of space inside and out. Management was very helpful on arranging transit to/from airport. Proximity to Lidos and restaurants was a big plus.

A long wait, but worth it!!

My group booked this property back in 2019, but due to Covid had to re-schedule our holiday twice. It was worth the wait! The villa was perfect for the four of us. Location is great if you want to just lounge by the pool and chill, or walk down to the beach for a swim. Lindos is just around the corner for great bars and restaurants, and there is a decent supermarket 5 minutes drive from the villa. We had a hire car which was great as we were able to stock up in one go with all our provisions for the week. There was ample kitchen space and storage, and using the lovely BBQ was one of the many highlights of our stay. We found the villa spacious, very comfortable and peaceful, with a large garden which we used for sunbathing. Bruna was the lady who welcomed us to the villa, and is our star. Anything that we needed was supplied promptly, or directions were given as to how we could find those things for ourselves. Great support! Can't really find fault with the villa, and was the perfect remedy to two years of Covid regulations. Our sincere thanks to all the staff.

sehr gutes Haus, sehr gute Lage

das Haus überzeugt durch sehr gute Lage, nur ein paar hundert Meter zum Strand, ohne eine Hauptstraße überqueren zu müssen. Jeder Schlafraum und das Wohnzimmer mit Air Condition, die wir allerdings als Heizung benutzt haben. Mitte April ist einfach noch nicht die richtige Saison. Luft noch nicht sicher warm, Meer noch nicht warm und Pool auch nicht. Auch die empfohlenen Gaststätten in der Nähe beginnen die Saison erst im Mai. Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Einmal während unseres Aufenthaltes von insgesamt 9 Nächten wurde die Bettwäsche gewechselt und das Haus gereinigt. Der Pool wurde mit Wasser aufgefüllt, was die Geräusche, die im Hauptschlafzimmer zu hören waren, beendete. Leider verlor der Pool das Wasser innerhalb von 2 Tagen wieder und die Geräusche waren wieder da. Ansonsten ein sehr gutes Haus. Wenn wieder Rhodos, dann dort.

Very expensive for what we received location very poor beach not really what we were looking for all

Lindos Destiny reviews for there Villa Verna We arrived on Sunday the 1st of July 18 to our Villa after the Taxi undertook many attempts to locate unsuccessfully ( I had read all the previous reviews and it had mentioned everyone had problems finding the Villa) so before booking I made sure of a few things they had assured me that the signage had been rectified and that it was easy to find ( a complete lie they had assured me ) they had put the smallest of signs up outside the front door however this was on a complex of five Villas and on a street with six streets full of Villas so impossible to find if the local taxi drivers cannot find it how are the holidaymakers meant to. We were greeted in the street by Cleo thank goodness, she gave a quick tour and went x the Villa was nice and clean and lots of light x from the start of our occupation it was very clear we were going to have issues with the Wi-fi it just would not work ( three weeks before our arrival I had read of other guests having the same problems so I wrote a letter making it clear that we had 100 per cent of internet connection) they had assured me it had been fixed ( this was also a lie x I needed the Wi-fi as this was a working holiday which I had mentioned previously also all our kids had iPads iPhones and games which needed a connection) I have stayed in Villas all over the world and for this large amount of money a month you normally have everything working impeccably so no excuses please. Villa Verna overlooks Vlycha Beach so sitting by the pool overlooking the sea to the left hand side we have the great big white elephant a tall TUI hotel far to the left we have the Lindos Royal which you can clearly see and hear through the day because it has a massive building site by the side you normally wake in the mornings at the present time to lots of thumping and banging from their attempts to pile into the side of the mountain and there is constant plumes of dust wafting across to that hotel which can’t be pleasant for the residents there x The beach is not how I expected it to be very pebbly mixed in with dust and builders remains not very pleasant at all we found ourselves going out most days to St Pauls Bay x The beach area consists of very few bars and restaurants in fact you can count them on one hand not very lively at all x so we come onto the value for money aspects of our rental and quite frankly for the amount that they are charging for these villas we expected more

Lovely house, beautiful terrace and swimmingpool

Villa Verna is a very nice place to spend a holiday with friends or with your family. It is a very pleasant house with excellent facilities like kitchen, multiple bathrooms and air conditioning. Villa Verna has a beautiful terrace with both sun and shade and a lovely pool adjacent to the terrace. It is about 5 minutes walk downhill to the beach. By car, it is a 5-minute drive to the supermarket and a little further to a delicious bakery. Absolutely recommendable if you want to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather

Well appointed villa with terffic view of the sea & Vlycha beach

Villa Verna did not disappoint! It looked terrific on the website and was just so in reality. 3 bedrooms each with their own bath/shower room and direct access to the garden, air con throughout, well equipped kitchen (dishwasher included!) and, important for large groups, 4 toilets! Outside there is ample space for relaxing by the infinity pool and a large built-in BBQ and dining area. Plenty of sun shade too. The (very) green lawn was a bonus and a nice area for playing games or lounging in the sun. We appreciated the well stocked fridge on arrival which included beer & wine. There is a an excellent supermarket 5 minutes drive away towards Kalathos which has all you need for food and other household items. The coffee bar next door to the supermarket, Zucchero, has excellent pastries, cakes & ice cream and should not be missed. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the villa on arrival and during the 2 week stay we had villa cleaned and bed linen & white towels changed twice which was nice. Not detracting from the 5 star rating but a few points to be noted - the WIFI works pretty well in living area upstairs and the bedroom directly below the lounge area but it did not work in the master bedroom (perhaps a booster could be installed?) - the TV has two satellite connections, 1 German & 1Arabic, the Arabic channels have BBC World News and a couple of channels showing English language films but it's very limited for English speakers - the infinity pool effectively incorporates a mini waterfall and the pump runs all day from around 5 am till 11 pm - the sound of the water flow is evident in the master bedroom - this was not a problem for us but may disturb some people - it would be useful if the name of the Villa could be identified near the front door, we had family staying nearby and they struggled to fine the villa, as did we when we first arrived! - there were a few issues that required maintenance intervention (flat batteries in a couple of air con remote controls & blown light bulbs) but these were sorted out the same day. All in all we were very happy with Villa Verna and would be pleased to return again one day. PS: favourite restaurants were Valantina's in Lardos, Philosphia in Pefkos and Konstatin next to Atrium Palace hotel, Kalathos

Villa Verna for our Wedding

The attention to detail for this Villa is very good with everything you could have wanted available,together with a welcome pack left for us on arrival for us. Any issues and the maintenance team were there within 10 mins,however there were few. They even provided a Cake mixer to us as my daughter wanted to make me a Birthday Cake. The views are fabulous and we would return without doubt to this Villa,we were here for 10 days. Thankyou very much everybody. Regards Mr.and Mrs Cook

LOVED it!

My husband, 3 children and I have just returned from quite honestly one of the most wonderful holidays I have ever had the good fortune to go on! Villa Verna is extremely comfortable and is so well placed for trips to the beach (literally 5 min walk max to Vlicha beach) and to beautiful Lindos (approx 5 min drive). We could not have been happier. A big thank you to Nicola at Lindos Destiny for her help in finding the perfect villa for us and for all her general help and advice. A truly fantastic time had by all. 10/10

A fabulous villa for the most relaxing holiday!

We stayed at Villa Verna with three children and had the most amazing time! The villa was very nicely laid out and it is great to have three bathrooms and four toilets. It was very clean and in absolutely spotless condition. The welcome basket was a nice touch and much appreciated, especially as we arrived later in the evening (shame, we did not finish the bottle of wine.. ;-)). The pool was a real winner especially with the children and allowed us to take a break from the beach, which would get too hot at times, and just relax in the comfort of the villa. Wifi worked well, just not downstairs in the bedrooms, but hey... The outdoor BBQ area was fab (even though we hardly used it being very lazy on the cooking part...). There is even a sandwich toaster for those kids who like to take a break from Gyros with pitta. If I wanted to find one thing that could possibly be improved it is the quality of the frying pans. They have seen their best days and things tend to stick to them. Maybe one decent, slightly heavier non-stick pan would be nice. The area is great and very laid back and quiet compared to the area around Rhodes town. Lindos can get busy during the day and if you like to see the Acropolis in Lindos, I would recommend to do it first thing in the morning before it gets hot and busy! Plenty of lovely restaurants in the area and if you cannot be bothered with going into Lindos try the Rotunda at the Lindos Jewel Hotel down by the beach - lovely staff and very nice Aubergine salad! we took take-away a couple of times and ate at the villa, which was nice for lunch! Very nice beach in Tsambika and of course the bays in Lindos and Anthony Quinn Bay are beautiful. Nothing is very far away, but it does help to have a rental car. We also went to the Water Park in Faliraki, which shows some signs of age but it was a blast for the children and strangely enough not too busy even on a Saturday. All in all we had a fantastic stay and a lot of it was down to the perfect accommodation. I am happy we chose to stay at Villa Verna instead of a hotel and would definitely recommend you and hopefully stay again!

Absolutely Marvelous!

What a gorgeous place! The Villa was perfect for our family - 3 great bedrooms and 3 baths; lots of water pressure, convenient open layout, kitchen well equipped and the outdoor space is excellent. Proximity to the grocery store and bakery made everything easy. We hope to go back one day.

wonderful holiday

Clean, modern, villa with beautiful views.

In a quiet spot with fairly good access and gorgeous views. Appreciated the regular changes of linen and towels. Spacious outdoor eating area and well appointed garden. Good water pressure in showers. Kitchen has modern appliances but could benefit from extra casserole dishes and baking trays for the oven for guests who intend to cook in the villa rather than eat out. Lindos is only a 5 minute drive away and has the best beach for miles! Large, well stocked supermarket also only 5 mins away. Really enjoyed our holiday.

Fantastic, just as in the photos!

Excellent property. Aircon was a life saver. View is amazing from the pool deck, BBQ area and living room. Amenities are great. Property was clean and person meeting us was friendly and on time. Cannot find any reason to complain and will be back. Thanks for this great holiday.

Perfect! Ideal location.

Met at the villa at the arranged time. The aircon had been switched in and the cool interior was welcome after a hot drive. Welcome pack was thoughtful. Lay-out of villa was good. View from pool just as in photo - unbelievable. Delivered everything it promised Nd more. We will return. Thank yoy!

A beautiful villa

A beautiful and conveniently located villa near to Lindos Town. The villa, pool and gardens are very well maintained providing a most comfortable stay. Lovely views of the sea from a stunning infinity pool. Alfresco dining is made so easy with a large dining area and BBQ. The villa is easy walking distance to a lovely beach Vilcha which offers various water sports, two restaurants and a small but well stocked supermarket. A great base to explore the island and enjoy everything that the island of Rhodes has to offer. Lots of activities are close by. We loved the Jeep Safari which was a great way of exploring the south of the island and the mountain villages.

Fantastic villa in a great location

A lovely modern villa in a great location close to the town of lindos. There was a fantastic welcome pack on arrival which had all the basics you needed. We had a lovely stay at this villa and will definitely be returning in the future. I would recommend having a car as there is lots to see on the island and also some nice sandy beaches nearby. There's a lovely family friendly restaurant in lardos called Roulas that I would definitely recommend visiting. Overall a fabulous holiday!!!

an excellent service for very successful holiday!

The villa fits perfectly with that we saw on the ad. The kitchen, and more generally, the entire house is very well equipped. Maybe a few extra tea towels would be useful. Outside, the garden (sprinkler), the pool or the terrace are particularly pleasant. Aeration of the patio is certainly very valuable during warmer months, perhaps it would be nice to provide to block them when temperatures are more modest. Qualified and friendly staff regularly comes to take charge of the swimming pool and the housework. In summary, an excellent service for very successful holiday!

Villa Verna is modern and well equipped with a touch of luxury. The villa is in a peaceful location among other villas in the small development. The villa is off the main road and is set in the hillside to give amazing views of the Vlicha bay only minutes drive from Lindos. We liked the screens on the windows to keep out insects. Vlicha beach is not particulary sandy but there are nice beaches at Lindos and a brilliant beach for children at Tsambika. The villa pool is great and well maintained. The service we got from Lindos destiny and the property management company was excellent. Good booking experience and resort contact. The maid service excellent with regular linen changes. I am being very picky now but we would have liked a poolside/veranda clean and change of pool towels. Would have preferred later pool cleaning to avoid being woken by moving pool furniture on a couple of mornings. Nothing was too much trouble for management compant. We were even brought english children's Dvd's when we discovered the TV had no english childrens' chanels. The starter pack in the property was excellent and provided more than just the basics. Lindos, Rhodes town, Tsambika monastery, Archangelos all good places to visit. Lots of great restaurants in Lindos to chose from. Da Vinci in Hariki good Italian. Visit the local bakeries rather than supermarkets for baked items & nice pastries for the beach/breakfast. We would recommend villa for families and friends. Would love to return. Excellent holiday villa, destination and property management company.
