Alba is a century-old stone house located in the Vale de Alvados e Alcaria, in the Aire and Candeeiros Mountains Natural Park.
Surrounded by nature—mountains, oak trees, and olive groves—it offers a serene retreat. Here, you breathe fresh air, hear the sounds of nature, and experience true tranquillity. Nearby, you'll find natural wonders like the Grutas and the Fórnea. Casa Alba hosts up to 4 guests and features a bedroom, living room, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and areas for work and relaxation.
The garden and patio, accessed through the back door, are private for guests. Lovingly restored, the house retains its original 99-year-old structure, including wooden ceilings, doors, and floors. The name “Alba” is inspired by the Paeonia broteroi, a rare wildflower native to the region, which also inspired the home’s color palette.

We decided to renovate our old family house and share it with guests from all over the World. Casa Alba is a natural mountain and nature refugee in a limestone region where rivers are only visible during the winter, the run under the region during the spring and summer time.
この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由
We a family from Alvados and Casa alba is with us for a few generations. When is achieving 100 years we open the door to guest all over the world. The village is in the middle of a Natural Park Serras de Aire e dos Candeeiros. There are a series of local attractions as caves, restaurants, an olive oil factory and and a thousand of options for trail, hiking, explore the embrace nature. Very well located, a 30 min drive from Leiria, Santarém, Nazaré, by Fátima and only 90 minutes from Lisbon Airport.

Casa Alba offers the experience of living in a old stone house with all the modern utilities. During renovation we kept as much as possible. Floors, ceilings, doors are original.
