We are positioned in the Lockyer Valley where the scenery is magnificent!
The downstairs of our house is self contained and has a private entrance. The space is quite large and can easily accommodate 6 people. Extra people at 15pp/pn. It has 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. All windows and doors have security screens.
You are welcome to meet and interact with all the animals.
Long or short stays are fine. All backgrounds will be made welcome.

Note: Dogs are not allowed anymore at our farm. I have Eight working dogs that take priority on my farm/property.
I do understand some people are travelling and have no other choice so
Strict Permission Only with Owner’s Consent. (Small caged animals are fine.)
No animals to EVER be in the carpeted areas (bedrooms) otherwise a Steam Cleaning FEE will be charged.
The place is a newly renovated and lifted Queenslander. The real deal as the house is over 50 years old and has all the charm that only this kind of local house can provide!
The downstairs of our house is all yours to enjoy and is fully self contained and has 2xprivate entrances. We have given it a modern but relaxing mood and warm essence that will destress you as soon as you arrive. The massive space and has an open plan, lounge, dining room and kitchen, which allows enough space for all to coexist while still enjoying Great-Get together time!
It has 2xbedrooms that both consist of security screens on all doors and windows, so they can be left open to get that afternoon breeze. Also brand new AIRCONS.
There is a 65inch Tv with Cromecast.
We have provided a DVD player & DVDs or Replay one of your favourite board games. Feeling lucky…..then get the Pals into a cheeky Games night of cards and poker chips that are provided.
For the Gamers there’s a PlayStation 2 & 4 is available on request with plenty of games to choose from!
We are on Vodaphone and it works well here for phone reception. We also provide Starlink WIFI so your phones and iPads won’t have any problems and you can watch anything you demand. We also provide Cromecast on both televisions.
There is a large, fenced, outdoor entertainment area of your own to use the bbq, Dart board, egg swing chairs, large table and chairs and a fire pit. At the back door there is a chill out couch. There you will find your own clothesline and clothes-horse in case it’s raining.
We have gone over and beyond to provide you with a wonderful place to stay with so many extras that it’s hard to mention them all. I provide you a Breakfast pack to get started with which includes milk and lots of different coffee and teas. Our aim is for you to be surprised at all the extra touches and worry about nothing but relaxing and enjoying your well deserved time off.
You are welcome to meet and greet with all the animals as most of them are rescues and have come to our farm to have rehabilitation or to finally get their forever home. All are friendly but children do need to be supervised for their own safety when interacting with them. Please know that your stay with us benefits them all!
Camping is also fine on our property if you would prefer the more basic approach to your stay. You can set up your own tent or we have some available for your convenience. This can also help if you need your teenager to have some extra space as tents can be set up close to the house. Please discuss this option, if needed, when booking.
Long or short stays are fine. We are experienced hosts and welcome pickers and backpackers groups or individuals that need accommodations for work purposes. Many have stayed here and found it a very convenient location.
Note- Guests booking stays of 14 nights or more will receive a complimentary mid-stay service every 7–8 days. This service includes fresh linen, vacuuming, and floor mopping, and provides us with the opportunity to ensure your accommodation remains in excellent condition throughout your stay.
The property is also are available for Do It Yourself Events such as weddings, engagement parties, hens or bucks nights. We have a Party shed which has a stage, instruments, Karaoke system projector and 150 inch screen.
We also have an Art Studio. Teachers, Artists and facilitators of any kind can book the property for classes at an hourly rate which lends itself to activities such as art, yoga, open air dance, meditation, photography or just about anything that requires space and beautiful, tranquil surroundings. Just send me a text and we will work out a package for you.

Other things to note
We have horses and other animals such as pigs, cats and dogs for you to interact with. Please be mindful when around the horses that they can be unpredictable. The standard rules when around the horses are never walk behind a horse as you might scare them and get kicked, always watch them as some like to take a little nip at you (they can be cheeky) do not run at them or make sudden, fast movements around them as this will spook them which can lead to kicking and biting, do not let children under the age12 in the paddocks or around the horses without an adult with them. Remember the old farmer saying of if you open a gate, close it and if the gate was open, leave it open. Our animals roam the property freely. There is plenty of wildlife such as koalas, kangaroos, fruit bats and a wide range of birds around the area for you to look at as well. Unfortunately we are unable to offer horse riding at this time due to our busy work schedules & our horses being young & green. We recommend Nash Horse Riding at Coominya which is 10minutes drive away.
