Nice property, but...

Nice and spacious property that is well appointed. Unfortunately there were a few issues: 1) There was no water pressure. You literally could not wash dishes as the water flow was tiny. Same thing with the washer, you could not use it due to the same issue 2) The owner wrote down that you get an electricity allocation (I believe it was 325 KW per/day) and after that he charge you per additional KW used (I believe it was .15 USD). I don't know about anyone else, but I have no idea of what this means (How much electricity is used by the AC, TV or anything else. It seems to me that it could lead to many charge issues that are not clear at all 3) Some of the furniture was loose, which could lead to one of the onyx tables falling apart and breaking, which could cause another deposit refund problem. Property managers and owners were very pleasant to deal with.

Hi, Thank you for choosing our vacation home to stay in. I apologize for you having water pressure issues for the last day or two of your stay. Unfortunately there was a pump for the entire condominium complex that broke which caused the water pressure to drop. This water pressure issue was promptly fixed and we have had no further complaints. Regarding your concern about your electricity allotment I would like to start off by saying that this is a common practice in Mexico. The amount that is allotted has been sufficient for everyone who has stayed there. We have never had to charge anyone extra money for going over the electricity limit. In fact, you only used about half of your allowed electricity during your stay and you received a full refund of your damage deposit. I am sorry for any concern you had about going over the amount of electricity allowed. Normal usage will not cause you to exceed our limit. I appreciate you telling us about the loose furniture. After talking with my property manager, I learned that he promptly tightened the bedside table that was wobbly. All the other furniture was inspected as well. place very nice and practice...

The appartement is full equiped and very nice! The place is nice and quite...the pool located back to the flat is very practise! The owner reacts very fast if you have some problem or question. I love the place close to the beach...

Beautiful new condo in great location!!!

Our family spent a wonderful week enjoying this beautiful new condo. The furniture was very comfortable and elegant. We loved the lighted onyx tables. They were unique and beautiful. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had lots of room to spread out. This was our first time in Mexico and we felt very safe in this gated and guarded community. The beautiful beach was within easy walking distance with safe swimming areas. It was a great family beach. We are looking forward to our next trip back here!

We purchased this condominium this year so that we would have a place to stay in beautiful Playa Del Carmen when we have vacation time. We have always loved this area as Playa Del Carmen has so much to offer including but not limited to great dining, beautiful beaches, and great snorkeling and diving.

We chose this property because we love Playa Del Carmen. We wanted to be convenient to but not in the midst of downtown Playa Del Carmen so we chose El Cielo, a gated and guarded community on the north end of town. We were looking for a quiet and comfortable retreat where we can relax after a fun day at the beach, strolling down 5th Avenue, or enjoying one of the many other nearby attractions. We are located a short distance from theme parks, ancient Mayan ruins, world class golfing, diving, fishing, and snorkeling. El Cielo itself has walking and bike paths and is surrounded by lush jungle vegetation where abundant wildlife including monkeys and toucans can be spotted. We are only a 10 minute drive or inexpensive cab ride away from downtown Playa Del Carmen and a 5 minute drive or a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach.
