House rules You are staying in a friendly and peaceful neighbourhood and we kindly ask you to respect the community and your surrounding neighbours. The following strict House Rules apply: - No loud noise between 10 pm and 8 am - No parties or antisocial behaviour - No additional people are to access the property without our prior approval - No pets are allowed in the property without approval - No smoking is allowed at any times - If you break something, please let us know - To help protect all floor coverings, do not wear any shoes inside the property Please be aware that excessive noise such as amplified music, vocals or screaming or anti-social behaviour in the property or common areas can cause neighbours to complain to us, the Building Manager, Council Rangers or Police. IMPORTANT: - Any breach of the House Rules may lead to a $500 fine plus compensation for any cost/damage created and immediate eviction of the property without refund. - Pets are available on request unless the property states it is pet friendly. Any stays with pets will incur an additional cleaning fee of $200. Finally, when checking out, we kindly ask you for the following: - Please leave all beds unmade - Please clean up your dishes and put them away - In case you have rearranged furniture, please put it back to the original location - Please take out the rubbish and remember to use the right bins - Please ensure all appliances, A/C and lights are off and doors and windows are closed. - Please check your accommodation thoroughly before departing to avoid any unintentional items left behind. Getting There The property is located 37 km away from Mornington Peninsula Airport. By car, the journey will take around 30 minutes. By public transportation, the journey will take around 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Inside good,outside bad

Inside was perfect. Location was great. Inside was clean. Outside lacked attention. Outside had not been attended for months. Animal faeces not cleaned , fence fallen down not allowing vehicle parking.lacked care and general maintenance and tidiness.

Never booking with Stayz again.

The property itself was lovely however we arrived to find it was not cleaned or had the linen changed over. It was not a great start to our holiday, and I should have picked up on the red flag when shortly after booking I was asked by the property manager, "can you let us know what dates you have requested because I can't see it on your booking". We were asked to find a hotel for our first night and come back for the second, which was not a great response. After over an hour on the chat support and phone support, the best outcome was a full refund, which I am still waiting on. Luckily we were able to find a wonderful home with another provider who could accommodate us at short notice.

Nice house, but the cleanliness was lacking!

While I really liked the house, the cleanliness left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we found that the toilets were not cleaned at all, the floors were dirty and seemed to have been mopped with dirty water (our socks were testament to that), the shower had a buildup of soap scum, and the gas stove was covered in oil. Additionally, some of the cutlery and dishes were not properly cleaned and should be checked before guests arrive. The BBQ was filthy, and I definitely didn't feel comfortable using it. The storage cupboard in the main bathroom contained what looked like used sheets and other miscellaneous house items. We weren't sure if they were used or not, it might be better to lock the cupboard if guests are not meant to see these items. For the cleaning service fee of 277, I expected better, and that component was certainly not as described, and I feel I should be refunded.On a separate note, it was my mistake for not reading the entry instructions carefully but having a lock box on the main entry point that did not hold the keys and should not be used was confusing. It is the first thing you see when you arrive, and I suggest removing it from that location to avoid future confusion.That being said the house was great for entertaining and had large living areas and outdoor spaces, these were a big plus. The bedrooms were setup nicely - though they have firm beds which are not for me.

The door key got stuck in the terrace door, and customer service didn't apologise for the inconvenience of waiting all day for a locksmith. Luckily we removed the key the next morning but had to cancel our plans on the peninsula. The spa had no instructions and had milky, dirty water that hadn't been serviced or replaced in some time. The bush block was overgrown and clearly a gardener had not attended the property in some time. Broken, heavy patio girders littered the terrace, making the scenery out the back yard horrible, a danger to small children if they stayed there. Non-functioning terrace locks on 5 doors, meant access to the spa was limited to the front door. The renovation was stunning, but we felt very trapped to the indoors.
