This was our second stay at Riva Sea and cannot say enough good things about it! Davide, the property host, is absolutely amazing. From our stay last year to this year..he is so incredibly kind, helpful and wonderful with the kids. He is also local which is a huge perk and gives really good recommendations. Location is great and a short walk to the beach. You do have to cross one semi-busy road but no problem with a 2 & 4 year old. We always took the stroller. Keep in mind, these apartments are on the east side of Castellmmare del Golfo. The west side has a lot more restaurants and a lot busier which is another reason why we prefer this spot. There are some cafes and restaurants which we liked but it’s more low key while still being in the area. I loved how we could go to explore and come back to unwind. The pool is so great and always well maintained. While you do share it with other guests, it’s never crowded and really does feel secluded. Another reason why we chose it again was because last year, we met some really amazing families with children from several different countries. It was exactly the same this year and was thrilled my boys had some kids to play with during downtime. We always get a rental car and parking there is easy and secure. We have always felt safe and enjoyed our time. I will continue to book and stay with Riva every trip back to Sicily! Thank you again, Davide and we look forward to seeing you again!
