In the lounge, plump sofas and a TV will make you feel right at home while huge patio doors drench the space in natural light and invite you to sit and gaze at the sea views. When mealtimes beckon, you’ll find an open-plan kitchen equipped with a sociable dining table and all the essentials needed to rustle up a family meal. Come bedtime, you can choose between two lovely single bedrooms or a double bedroom on the ground floor, or head upstairs to the en-suite double bedroom boasting tranquil sea views. All the bedrooms are wonderfully serene and you’ll be sure of a restful night’s sleep. In the morning, the first-floor lounge with its huge windows is the perfect spot to gather for breakfast and watch the sunrise over the sea. Alternatively, step outside and relax in the garden. While you listen to the birdsong the children can run free on the lawn.
In Trevone, eat at the cafe or stop for a drink at the pub and then enjoy a short walk (500 yards) to Trevone Bay. A family-friendly sandy beach, it’s a good place to swim, surf or go rock pooling. For off-beach adventure, pick up the South West Coast Path and enjoy a scenic 3-mile walk to Trevose Head. Golfers can also play a round at the Trevose Golf and Country Club (2.5 miles) or head to vibrant Padstow (2 miles) and enjoy a meal at one of the excellent seafood restaurants.
