Just a mile away is the charming Railway Inn, while picturesque villages of Berriew and Garthmyl are both within 4 miles. Garthmyl offers lovely eateries, including The Nags Head Inn, Greenhouse Café and the Lakeside Golf Club, a nine-hole range perfect for golfers to enjoy afternoons on the green. Head into the market town of Welshpool (5 miles) for pubs and a weekly market. Set off on a nostalgic ride on the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway (14.5 miles), home to steam locomotives and coaches from all over the world, or head into Powis (5.5 miles) to explore its iconic castle and gardens. For a cycle ride, the beautiful Montgomery Canal Towpath and Llyn Coed y Dinas Nature Reserve are both 3.5 miles.

Each has built-in wardrobes, plus projectors that stream onto the ceiling, so guests can enjoy entertainment on YouTube before falling asleep. Completing the layout, you’ll find a chic family bathroom with a shower over the free-standing bath.
The front garden has seating and a lawn, which wraps around to a spacious rear garden, where guests can unwind surrounded by stunning countryside views. Enjoy breakfast under the gazebo, relax on a picnic blanket beneath the apple tree while wildlife-watching, or play outdoor games with family.
