Spend wonderful days strolling the sands at Dunwich Beach or spotting wildlife at RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve; and in the evening, come home to this welcoming cottage to fire up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco while you soak up the country views from the garden.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a bright and cheerful sitting room with subtle coastal-themed styling. Take a moment to make yourself at home in front of the glowing wood burner before heading to the stylish open-plan kitchen/diner. Rustle up some dinner for your loved ones in the spacious kitchen area and serve it in the cosy dining area. Head out through the French doors to the garden if you prefer to dine alfresco. After dinner, enjoy a drink on the patio while the stars come out, or head back to the sitting room to chill out in front of the TV. When the day is done there are three beautifully-styled bedrooms to choose from upstairs.

Grab your binoculars and have a wonderful day at RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve (4 miles). Keep your eyes peeled for avocet, marsh harriers, otters and water voles. Or hop on a boat and sail over to the picturesque town of Southwold (11 miles), which is known for its colourful beach huts and iconic pier.
