Close to the A38 and A30 for easy access, this single-story cottage, part of a centuries-old barn, offers a warm and welcoming retreat for families and friends. Set within 17 acres of lush woodland and meadow, the property is ideal for nature lovers and fishing enthusiasts, with the River Fowey providing excellent opportunities to catch salmon and trout. Its convenient location near the A30 means you’re never far from the sandy shores of Looe (10 miles) or the charming streets of Fowey (14 miles). Guests can wander through 17 acres of picturesque woodland and meadow or enjoy fishing along the River Fowey, known for its excellent salmon and trout. Its proximity to the A30 and A38 makes it easy to visit tourist spots including Looe (10 miles) and Fowey (14 miles). There’s something here for everyone within 10 miles of home - whether you’re marvelling at the exotic flora and fauna of the Eden Project, or visiting the National Trust’s impressive late Victorian country house at Lanhydrock, 5 miles away, to explore the house, gardens and parkland.


From the moment you step inside, the cottage’s charming character is apparent. Leave coats and shoes in the entrance hall and make your way through to the pretty lounge/diner, which features comfortable seating, a TV and a dining table for four. Through the well-equipped kitchen and along a hallway are the two south-facing bedrooms: a good-sized double with plenty of storage space, and a lovely twin room. The shower room completes the layout of the property.


Outside is your own seating area with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ. The surrounding grounds are also yours to explore. Parking for one car directly outside the property.
