Perched on the edge of the Suffolk Coast AONB is the village of Wangford, a quintessentially British destination ready to host your next getaway. Within it is this fantastic former vicarage, a renovated Georgian property teeming with traditional charm and modern design elements. Happily hosting eight guests and boasting an abundance of space both indoors and out, this wonderful accommodation choice invites groups of both family and friends to spend time socialising together.
Handsome wood panelling, feature fireplaces and authentic beams nod to the history of this abode, whilst statement furniture pieces and bright splashes of colour bring it right into the 21st century. On the ground floor, you’ll find both a lounge and a garden room ready for long evenings of relaxation. Cosy up with the Smart TV on and the open fire blazing in the lounge or throw open French doors in the garden room to unwind with instant access to the large, enclosed garden. Prepare to dine either out here on the patio, inside in the dining room or casually at the breakfast table in the kitchen. All four bedrooms are laid out over the first and second floors, each one presenting antique furniture and soft, fresh linens. One bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom and the others are served by a family bathroom.
Head towards the coast in less than five miles or explore plenty more walking routes and adventure attractions in the surrounding Suffolk countryside. The property is just 1.5 miles from Henham Park, a large estate with an annual music festival and plenty more yearly attractions. You’re situated just 2 miles from the banks of the River Blyth, a route that’ll lead you inland or down to the local seaside town of Southwold (3.5 miles) with its sandy beach, a pier and plenty of shops and eateries.
