Overlooking the iconic Dragon’s Back – formed by Chrome and Parkhouse Hills – it’s a dream location for walkers and nature lovers. Just 5 miles from Buxton, known for its Georgian elegance and the Opera House, you’ll also be close to Poole’s Cavern and the High Peak Trail. The High Peak Bookshop and Cafe, just 2 miles away, is perfect for artisan treats and browsing handpicked books. Explore the wild beauty of Kinder Scout (18 miles), the scenic Tissington Trail (16 miles), the peaceful Manifold Trail (13 miles), or the lush valley of Monsal Dale (12 miles). Earl Sterndale offers the perfect mix of tranquillity and outdoor adventure, making it an unforgettable base for your Peak District escape.

The kitchen is fully equipped – ideal for relaxed holiday living. Downstairs from the kitchen, you’ll find a twin bedroom with two single beds and a bright bathroom featuring a bath with shower over and a WC, offering privacy and flexibility for families or friends. A few steps up from the kitchen lead to the open-plan dining area and cosy living room, where high vaulted ceilings and soft furnishings invite you to unwind. From here, stairs lead to the galleried double bedroom – an elegant, light-filled space overlooking the living area.
