Lievre Blanc, chalet for max 8 with pool, sauna, hot tub and panoramic views!

Chalet Le Lièvre Blanc is a private chalet  located in a small chalet development situated on the sunny side of Morzine with magnificent views overlooking the town, across to the Pleney ski slopes and the surrounding mountain peaks. Add to this, a private outside hot tub, indoor sauna, cosy log burner and sunny terraces, this modern chalet has every alpine amenity to create an indulgent holiday. In summer season there's also a heated pool (shared with the other chalets in the development, and is unsupervised). The swimming pool is on the same level as the front door of the apartment, no more than 30m from the door (but is not overlooked by the chalet).

The chalet is spread over 3 floors, thus offering spacious living and sleeping accommodation. The front door opens into an airy, open plan kitchen and living room, with large dining table and plenty of soft seating to seat 8 comfortably. The south-westerly aspect of this room, allows the sun to flood in, and French doors open onto a balcony with outdoor seating to enjoy al fresco meals, and a Weber Barbeque. It has 4 bedrooms, all of which can be made up as king beds or twins, with 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are ensuite. 

The first bedroom occupies the upper floor of the chalet, with small ensuite shower and WC. The other 3 bedrooms are located on the ground floor. One is the master bedroom with ensuite bath/shower. Two further bedrooms share a third shower room and WC. All these bedrooms have built-in cupboards, allowing for luggage storage and each has double French doors out to the terrace, and direct access to the 7 seater hot tub – the perfect place to enjoy après aperitifs watching the returning skiers and weekly Pleney fireworks. N.B. the hot tub is available for use during the ski season (Dec-Apr) and the summer season (mid-June to mid-Sept) only. If you want to stay outside of this period and you wish to have use of the hot tub there is a charge of €150 which covers the cost of having it filled and heated, and the regular checking. It takes 15 minutes' walk (1200m) down to town, 20 mins to walk back up. During the winter season there is a free local bus which stops in front of the chalet every 40 min from 8am to 7pm (with a  break 12.00 - 14.00) and takes 10 minutes to get to the Pleney slopes. and stops outside the entrance, and drops off on the Avenue de Joux Plane opposite the Bouchard draglift on the Pleney. The same free service leaves the Avenue de Joux Plane every half hour up to 7pm. The service operates from Christmas week to the end of the first week in April. It's absolutely worth staying uphill a bit for the amazing views! It's also easy to organise a minibus taxi to take you into town or back again in the evening if you don't fancy the walk! There are numbers in the back of our information book on the sideboard in the chalet. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Winter ski season (Dec 13 - April 22): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included. The Rest of the year: (April 22 - Dec 13): bedlinen and towels are included. End of stay cleaning is payable locally and costs €120. 

IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We take a €300 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. We will hold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to properly check the property. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for summer mountain biking groups and at our discretion.

Geneva Airport transfers: We operate our own airport transfer service in our licensed taxi minibus, which seats max 8 passengers in comfort with plenty of luggage space (VW Caravelle 4 x 4 long wheel base). We can offer shared transfers or private transfers, always door-to-door (unlike some transfer services who will drop you at the bus station!) – contact us for a competitive quote (Prices range from €95 per person return based on 4 travelling together, down to €66pp return for 8 travelling together) / €530 for a private transfer.



Lift pass purchase: We are able to arrange your lift passes in advance of your stay, so that they’re ready on your arrival at the apartment. We can take payment for these by credit card or bank transfer in advance, or cash on arrival in resort. We offer lower rates on area and local passes than you can buy in resort. Help with arranging child care or babysitting: we have contacts with the in-resort childcare companies and can make the initial enquiries for you. For ad-hoc babysitting we have a list of trusted contacts and can put you in touch with them after you have booked.



Start-up grocery shopping: for those arriving too late to be able to buy supplies on your first day, or if you’re arriving by airport transfer, if you contact us with your shopping list with 2 days’ advance notice, we can purchase and deliver your first days’ groceries for you, with a small charge of €20.



Full or part-catered service: we work with several highly recommended freelance caterers who can provide a combination of breakfasts, afternoon tea, daily cleaning, children's suppers and adults 3 or 4 course dinner with or without wine included, and also a dinner delivery service.
