Idealer Ort, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht, keinen Tourismus um sich haben will, grandioser Meerblick. Sehr engagierte Gastgeber. Einzig die Auffahrtsstrasse zum Haus, ca. 10 Min. vom Tal auf 200m Höhe ist in schlechtem Zustand (viele Löcher, Abrisskanten) und man sollte ein geländegängiges Auto haben.

Eine schöne Unterkunft, klein aber fein. Die atemberaubende Aussicht kann entspannt auf der Terrasse oder aus dem Pool genossen werden. Wir haben die ruhige Lage sehr genossen und sind rundum zufrieden.

Photographs dont do it justice! Wonderfully tranquil, a real escape from the rat race. The view from this villa will blow you away! Whilst you do need a car to get about during your stay here, dont let it put you off experiencing a beautiful part of Sicily. Vivianna, who manages this villa was wonderful. She met us at the Villa when we arrived, and was always at the end of the phone if we needed her, to ensure our holiday was the best it could be. Thank you Vivianna, our holiday was fabulous and we will always have the fondest of memories staying here.

Fantastique !

Un panorama de rêve à toute heure (le ciel étoilé est aussi magnifique car sans pollution lumineuse). On se sent très privilégié d’être face à une telle vue tout en profitant des installations extérieures et de la piscine qui sont top). Des vacances ultra reposantes, on a adoré !

Ein paradiesisch tolles Ferienhaus, super schöner Pool und gute Ausstattung, alles da. Das Haus selbst ist etwa klein, aber das ist im Sommer kein Problem, da man eh nur draußen auf der tollen Terrasse ist und isst ☺️ Das Management ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und reaktiv. Einen Abend hatten wir sogar einen Chef der für uns kochte, einfach super!

small paradise with stunning views

This is the perfect place to forget about everything from your everyday life when you go on holidays. Beautiful, very quiet on the top of the hill. The views are breathtaking at each moment of the day. The swimming pool iis juts amazing! The region is not so crowdy with tourists, you will find everything you need in the area. The owner is very helpful and very kind. We had a great rest during 10 days.

Urlaub in einen privaten Paradies

Wir haben in der Villa Dammuso einen erholsamen und abwechslungsreichen Urlaub verbracht. Der Ausblick ist grandios, das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und ganz besonders genossen haben wir den großen Infinitypool und die großzügigen Terrassen. Regelmäßig gepflegt wurde das Ganze von Franco, Danke dafür! Wer Ruhe und private Atmosphäre sucht ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle besonders an Stefania, für die vielen hilfreichen Tipps und Empfehlungen. Sie war auch für unsere zusätzlichen Fragen bestens erreichbar und hat uns liebevoll bis zur Abreise „betreut“. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner unvergesslicher Sizilien Urlaub.

Entspannende Wohlfühloase an traumhafter Lage

Das Traumhaus von Stefania und Francesco liegt bei Caronia, ca. 40 min. von Cefalu entfernt direkt neben dem wunderschönen Keramik-Dorf Santo Stafano di Camastro. Die Gegend ist traumhaft. Hügelig, grün und natürlich, ursprünglich und vom Massentourismus verschont. Vom kleinen Bio Olivenöl Bauern über traditionelle Handwerkskunst bis grossartigem Essen direkt aus dem Meer haben wir ein ehrliches und wunderschönes Sizilien entdecken dürfen. Das Haus liegt am Hang und ist über eine kleine, etwas holprige Strasse gut erschlossen. Beim Ankommen lässt sich bereits erahnen, was das Haus so einzigartig macht. Das Panorama ist atemberaubend. Von den verschiedenen Terrassen zeigt sich das 180 Grad Panorama von Palermo bis zu den Äolischen Inseln. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind spektakulär und wir genossen jeden Abend das Farbenspiel der Natur bei einem Glas Weisswein.. sogar das Meeresrauschen kann man hören. Die Ruhe und die Natur um uns herum haben uns sofort entschleunigt. Auch wenn das Haus an sich nicht besonders gross ist, findet man jeden Komfort (Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, Ventilatoren, etc. etc.) den man braucht und die grossen Aussenräume mit diversen Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten bieten mehr als genug Platz. Besonders ist auch die persönliche Note des Hauses. Man spürt bei Dekoration und Einrichtung, dass Stefania und Francesco sich mit diesem Haus einen Traum erfüllt haben, den Sie gerne mit anderen teilen. Der Pool ist ebenso ein weiteres Highlight. Gross genug um auch ein paar Bahnen schwimmen zu können, hat man auch von hier aus ein traumhaftes Panorama, was einen sprachlos macht. Wir verbrachten 4 wunderbare Tage, an denen wir nur für kurze Ausflüge, Einkaufen beim kleinen Fischladen, Bäcker und Bauern im Dorf, Abendessen das Haus verlassen haben um so viel wie möglich von der Ruhe und Schönheit des Hauses mitnehmen zu können. Auch die Konversation mit Stefania sowie Franco (der Ansprechpartner vor Ort) waren super persönlich, nett, zuvorkommend, liebenswürdig und freundlich. Auch gibt es von Stefania ein digitales Booklet mit grossartigen Tips und Empfehlungen für die gesamte Region, die allesamt super waren und ständig erweitert werden. Wir kommen sicher wieder!!! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der 2. Oktober-Hälfte 2019 sehr genossen. Das Haus ist nett eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Terrassen und der Pool sind wunderbar. Der Blick auf das Meer ist toll. Was könnte besser sein: Bei Regenwetter fehlt eine überdachte Terrasse; es ist nur ein Sonnenschutz aus Tuch vorhanden.

Cadre idyllique

La propriété se situe dans un environnement privilégié au calme, loin du bruit de la ville. Le jardin est magnifique, très bien équipé pour se prélasser au soleil, au bord de la piscine ou à l'ombre des arbres. La piscine est somptueuse avec une vue sur la mer à couper le souffle ! La maison est sobre et propre, bien équipée avec des petits détails qui rappelle que le patrimoine sicilien. On sent que c'est une maison de vacances qui tient à coeur à Stefania et Francesco. Même loin, Stefania a pris soin de nous, par de délicates attentions. Elle s'est inquiétée de savoir si tout allait bien. La remise des clé a été très facile. Un super séjour dans la maison de Stefania et Francesco. Je conseille vivement si vous recherchez le calme et la tranquillité.

A Swimming with a view (an amazing view)

The outdoor space is amazing, with several seating areas all with breathtaking views out over the sea. Sat by the pool you sometimes felt like you were on a cruise, as the pool merged with the sea. The villa itself was fine for 2 of us, and thankfully the air-conditioning, via ceiling fans, was just about sufficient. The privacy and quiet was fantastic. Our only concern was the road to the property, it was treacherous and really required a 4x4. We were told this was because the unseasonal torrential rain the previous week had washed the road away. You can tell that the owners are improving the inside and outside space over time. With more still to do inside.

Amazing, looking for more vacation days to return

This place is a dream, a paradise. You get the best of the 2 worlds beach and the feel of beach town and the quietness of having a villa for yourself on top of a mountain. And the view is unforgettable. If you have some days available and you are looking for a great place to visit and forget about everything, this is the place for you. You will not regret it. Stunning location - fabulous pool

Stunningly beautiful location, as others have commented. What a view over the Tyrrhenian Sea! The outside facilities were really super - plenty of places to sit, relax and enjoy the view. The outside, eating area was comfortable and well shaded even when the sun was at it's height. We really loved the swimming pool, very well designed and very clean - great to be in as the sun sets, being an infinity pool it made the best of the fab view! Villa Dammuso is peaceful, tranquil and away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas so you do need a car, this is what we wanted. It is close to the Nebrodi National park with birds and wildlife all around. The villa was clean and tidy and ready for us when we arrived with a welcome bottle of wine and local biscuits - a lovely touch. We were 2 people and the space was fine for us, however I think that it would be cramped inside for more than 2, although the outside space is more than adequate. The one thing that was an issue for me was that when we visited it was very hot and humid and as a result there were a lot of biting insects, which despite a variety of measures were still problematic for me. As a result of this in the evenings I needed to stay indoors for much of the time and there isn't anywhere comfortable to sit and relax, as opposed to outdoors which is very well equipped indeed. I realise that this may not be a problem at other times of the year nor for other people. Stefania (the owner) was extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. We were provided with all of the information that we needed and queries were responded to straight away. This was backed up with very useful written information. A lovely introduction to Sicily - thank-you!

wonderful villa in peaceful surroundings

The villa is even better than the photos. It was great not being overlooked by anyone and not hearing any noise or traffic at all. At night we could stargaze from the terrace and in the day we had so much space to relax by the pool. We were spoiled for choice when deciding which area to sit at as there's several different spaces. The kitchen is really well equipped for cooking and the whole Villa is beautiful, clean and very tastefully decorated. Being between two towns that weren't packed full of tourists was ideal for us (Santo Stefano Di Camastra and Caronia). We had an excellent time and our host (Stefania) was really helpful.

Un balcone sul mare

Dopo aver percorso una stradina tortuosa che sembra perdersi nel parco dei Nebrodi, si arriva in quest'oasi di pace e tranquillità. La casa è davvero graziosissima, curata con amore nei piccoli dettagli e accessoriata di tutto. Ma quello che colpisce è l'esterno: il panorama mozzafiato sul mare (lo spettacolo del sole che tramonta sul mare è poetico), il silenzio irreale e la piscina mozzafiato... i proprietari poi sono gentilissimi e simpaticissimi.... che dire? Se andate in Sicilia, questo è il posto per voi!!!!!
