The property is located just 100 metres from Sturgeon Lake, with three marina access points providing easy access to the water and nearby hiking trails. Many guests enjoy parking and walking down to the lake, while others prefer relaxing indoors and watching movies via IPTV. The backyard offers comfortable lounge seating areas and a BBQ, ideal for outdoor relaxation. Parking is available for up to 7 guest vehicles. Outdoor lights can be turned on using the switch located by the patio door in the kitchen area. If you experience any issues or have questions during your stay, please contact John via the app or by text message. Kindly leave the house in the same condition as you found it. Garbage bins are located at the front corner of the house.

The property was not clean and did not match our expectations.The host lives on the lower level of the home, so guests do not have the entire property to themselves. Outside, much of the patio furniture was dirty, broken, or in need of repair, and the yard appeared untidy.Inside, there were cleanliness issues throughout the property. Kitchen utensils and a spatula had visible food residue on them. Old tomatoe paste in a can in the fridge. Bathroom drawers contained dirt, debris, used mouthwash, combs, and other personal items, giving the impression that the space was still being actively lived in. The bedsheets contained crumbs and did not appear freshly cleaned.The most concerning issue was the bathroom. There was fecal matter on the underside of the toilet seat and urine on the rim of the bowl. When we brought this to the host's attention, he came upstairs and cleaned the toilet with a Clorox microfiber cloth, then used the same cloth to wipe out the bathroom vanity drawers.The couch also had visible stains and residue on it.When we raised our concerns, the host appeared intoxicated and did not seem to view the condition of the property as a significant issue. He later suggested that we may have caused or staged some of the problems ourselves, which was upsetting and unprofessional.Due to the condition of the property and our lack of confidence that the cleanliness issues could be adequately resolved, we chose to leave approximately 45 minutes after arriving.
