What a nightmare this stay was…
The owner did not contact us beforehand, which meant we were unable to check in. After several phone calls with the booking agency, we eventually managed to get in touch with the owner. Upon check-in, we were charged unexpected fees for a late-night check-in. This was not communicated anywhere in the booking advertisement. They were completely unwelcoming and came across as intimidating and threatening.
They also charged us too much tourist tax, which luckily we noticed in time. They present themselves as a holiday agency, but the son constantly communicates via WhatsApp using ChatGPT.
The bed sheets were not clean, nor were the towels. The bathroom was also extremely disappointing. The only positive thing was the air conditioning. Apart from that, the kitchen has to be shared with other guests.
We will never come back here. Do yourself a favor and look for another place to stay. Our expectations were not high to begin with, but this experience still managed to exceed them in the worst possible way.
Thankfully, it was only for two nights.
