Great Stay!

We stayed for a family ski weekend. It was nice being close to the slopes. The location is great...right off the hwy, but also feels somewhat secluded. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Beds were comfortable. Don't forget to bring your coffee and toiletries as they are not supplied.

Shuey family summer trip

Family decided to go to deadwood area so we could ride sxs in the hills. We rented this house and the one next door had a great time will definitely be back. And would recommend this place to other families. Family members from Iowa- Las Vegas - California - Oregon- Washington. We had a blast

Great location

Great location right on the edge of Lead. Close to hiking, biking and RV trails. The 3-story house worked well for our three families vacationing together. The ground level was perfect for the teens to have their own bathroom, bedroom and living room. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of hiking and wheeling.

Exactly what our family needed!

Felt like we were the only people around which is what we needed. This location was perfect for every day adventures from seeing Mount Rushmore to breathtaking views of Waterfalls! We enjoyed being a local and went to the Deadwood/Lead Homecoming parade and then Football Friday night. We would highly recommend the stay in this beautiful home! This stay was exactly what we were looking for!

Nice location

We were on a must needed girls weekend and had time to relax and unwind. Easy location right off the hwy. We arrived and the electricity was off. The property manager was on the phone with us ASAP. She helped us find fuse box and get things up and running again. We enjoyed our stay ! We highly recommended this property. Thank-you for the nice stay.

Wonderful mountain lodge stay

As advertised. Spacious. Clean! Well stocked. Hot tub well maintained. Excellent location. Great communication. Neighbors a bit loud and with close proximity of bedrooms to next door hot tub can hear everything. Didn’t realize 4x4 required as posted on sign so luckily brought the Subaru. Great value. 100% would return.

Great stay

This was the perfect place for a small golf outing trip plenty of room for 7 people nice fire pit and the hot tub was amazing. The only issues we had were the outdoor stairs didn't seem i guess safe isn't the right word but sturdy would be. And then we noticed that one of the support beams for the stairs is barley making contact with the foundation it was meant to sit on. I did mention this to the property manager and they will hopefully let the owner know. And i hope they get it fixed because it really was a great place to stay!

One night we were treated with a lightning storm that will be remembered forever, all from the safety of the deck. The bedrooms were spacious, the shower water was hot, and the kitchen was perfect for meal making, just an overall awesome experience!!! I highly recommend this property for your Black Hills adventure

The garage with the foosball table kept our many shoes, jackets, and miscellaneous stuff out from underfoot. Having the option of the additional bedroom above the garage was perfect. We loved the location right off the highway with mountain and stream views. We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this was one of the cleanest and most thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for our stay.

Nice stay at a beautiful cabin.

We had some difficulty riding our motorcycles up the steep gravel driveway so had to park across the street but we were ok with that. Also, due to what we were told was because of a change in the law, we couldn't use the fire pit. Overall it's a very nice cabin and would recommend it to others. The issues we ran into were minor and didn't stop us from enjoying our time in the black hills.

Reviewer Comments: Had a beautiful weekend in the hills the cabin was very nice and enjoyed it greatly. would be a great cabin for family with young children as there is a lot of neat gaming things available. one word of caution the driveway is not trailer friendly!It is a serious incline and we were there to ride side by sides and my experience is that the managing company really doesn't know about trailers and the space it takes to maneuver them!

Great place, A few suggestions

Overall the house was great and perfect for our family! There were a few cleanliness issues that could have been better, under beds all still had stuff from previous guests, only one roll of paper towels (didn't occur to me to bring our own), windows could use a good clean and SO MUCH SNOW on all balconies and stairs. I do understand we had gotten a storm the days before, but with what you pay for cleaning fee that should have been done, we spent 2 hours shoveling show to be able to use the outside decks/hot tub. Other than a few of those issues it really was a great place to spend the weekend

Perfect location right off the hwy. House was very nice. Can literally walk to Boars nest. Hot tub was actually up to temp and perfect! The only con-Pictures of driveway are deceiving.

Epic Cabin in the Black Hills

We had a group of 6 friends staying for an event across the street. it was the PERFECT place after a long road trip to get laundry done, hang out and relax after riding a few days. Would 10/10 recommend. IF you are on motorcycles...the driveway is gravel and STEEP. We were on adventure bikes and had little problem, but this is something to be aware of.
