Great Stay!

This place is great - nice grounds with a wonderful location. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place on Maui.

Convenient condo near beach

Perfect spot for our vacation. 5 minutes from kamaole 3 and a 10 minute walk from Kihei shops and restaurants. Clean comfortable spot, easy check in and out :)

Property was nice, pool is clean and big and lots of chairs for everyone.

The condo units are big and spacious and had a lot of kitchen appliances for use. Unfortunately the unit we were is is getting old and is in need of updating and basic maintenance. 4 kitchen cupboards fell off when we opened them and the downstairs toilet leaks. When letting the management company know they suggested to send someone in to fix the cabinets but did not respond to the toilet.

Hmmm….

Plan to wash every dish in the house by hand instead of your first day at the beach! Dishwasher doesn’t work, 2 full cycles and dishes were still dirty. All of the dishes in the cupboards has food caked to them, glasses all greesy etc… I was hoping for an ocean view for the money but only one chair on the deck has a view of the ocean, this unit is at the back of the complex, the furthest away from the beach possible. Snorkel gear, lawn chairs, cooler and umbrella were super awesome little perks. For the money I was really expecting a lot more.

Place was thoroughly cleaned and ready for us on arrival. We were accommodated and had a great view from the rental spot. Would stay here again!

Great Stay

This was a clean and comfortable condo. Everything was exactly as pictured in the listing, but the view from the lanai was better than expected. There are mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. It was a very quiet area, especially in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was in working order, and the beds and furniture were comfortable. My only complaint was communication with the property manager. I called a couple of times to ask questions and always got voicemail. Messages were not returned. However, they did call to remind me to check-in with the front desk and were very friendly.

Great Stah

Very clean unit with plenty of space for our family of 4. The property is nice and only a very quick walk across the street to one of the best beaches we visited. We swam with sea turtles and snorkeled thanks to the snorkel equipment provided. I loved that there was a gym in the condo community. We will definitely go back to Maui again someday and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and spacious

This is a lovely condo in a beautiful complex. The pictures don’t do it justice. Seems much larger in person than in the photos. We were all very comfortable. The only issue was a flickering kitchen light. We had to keep it off because it was annoying. Otherwise great!

Walk to the Beach, Restaurants, Park and More

Loved staying here. It is in a great location with plenty of shops and restaurants near by. 5 Minute walk to a perfect family beach. Easy access to anything on the island. Amazing Sunset views at beach. I would stay here again without hesitation.

This is approx the 9th time to Maui and condo was mediocre at best

We have stayed at kamaole sands multiple times over the past 5-7 yrs. Was disappointed in regulars to so many items in poor repair. In the kitchen a majority of the cupboard door hinges were missing screws and the doors would fall off when opened. The upstairs bedroom was missing it’s fire alarm. The screen door wascvery difficult to open and close due to not rolling correctly in its track. Ceiling above fans were dirty and full of cobwebs. Air conditioner in downstairs bedroom not working properly. Fire alarm in condo next door which was under construction kept going off requiring us to call maintenance to return to shut off. Lack of storage containers in kitchen. Parking was convenient and as always location is great

Suite needs a deep cleaning , is short on cooking utensils, and pans, but Kamaole Sands is a very nice property, well kept with great pool and grounds.

Nice remodeled kitchen and master bathroom

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment, the remodeled kitchen and master bathroom were great. The king bed and the pullout couch were comfy. The air conditioning unit was a little weak, it was able to cool the living room but didn’t do too much for the front bedroom or the upstairs, but we were still able to sleep fine. Unit had plenty of bath and beach towel, things were pretty clean but we do have a minor gripe, the master bedroom bedsheet had a couple of stains. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cups, and plates. The laundry unit is a little small but worked fine. The common ground area was well manicured, kids had fun at the pool. The beach across the condo was great and the condo is close to a lot of great restaurants in Kihei. Overall we’re glad that we were able to book the condo.

Great location. Right in between everything but a bit out of the racket of Kehei businesses. Great grounds. Beach across the street is one of the nicest on Maui.
