The Space:

Cherry Lodge is a beautifully presented retreat, designed to offer comfort, style, and a relaxing countryside escape. The lodge features two generously sized bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished with plush beds, soft pillows, and high-quality linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Ample wardrobe and bedside storage allows guests to unpack and feel at home, whether staying for a weekend break or an extended stay.



The lodge includes two modern bathrooms, each finished with sleek fixtures and a contemporary design. One bathroom offers a walk-in shower, while the other features a bathtub, providing flexibility and convenience for couples, families, or small groups. Fresh towels and essential toiletries are supplied to make your stay stress-free.



The open-plan living area is bright, airy, and inviting. The lounge area has comfortable sofas and armchairs, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the local area or enjoying a quiet evening in. Adjacent is a dining area with a generous table, ideal for meals together or planning your day ahead. The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, ample worktop space, and all necessary cookware and utensils, making it easy to prepare anything from quick snacks to home-cooked dinners.



Large windows throughout Cherry Lodge allow natural light to flood the space and frame tranquil views of the surrounding countryside. Whether sipping your morning coffee while watching the sunrise or winding down in the evening amid peaceful scenery, the lodge provides a calm, home-away-from-home atmosphere.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date. Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay. There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times. Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us. Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site. All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

The park is located off the A1079, only a couple of miles from the vibrant market town of Pocklington and around thirteen miles east of York. Guests arriving by car can access the park via the A1(M) and A64, both offering smooth routes through scenic Yorkshire landscapes. Complimentary parking is provided for complete convenience during your stay. York Railway Station, just 25–30 minutes away, provides excellent national connections with regular services to London, Manchester, Leeds, and Edinburgh. Taxis are readily available from the station, or guests can reach Pocklington by bus and complete the final short leg of the journey by taxi or on foot. Nearby amenities include local shops, restaurants, and cafés in Pocklington, as well as outdoor adventures in Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve. The city of York offers endless day-trip opportunities, from historic sites and museums to river cruises and boutique shopping.
