Very nice, had something for all ages and interests. Turtle's Nest staff was very helpful. Good location to Beaufort and Hunting Island State Park. Security staff was a bit overbearing and could have been more flexible as it was a holiday week and very few homes were occupied.

The house was great. My only complaint was that the internet was down Tuesday evening and we were without water due to a water main break on the island- part of the day on Thursday and practically the whole day on Friday which was very inconvenient. A later checkout time would have been good due to the water issue, or a partial refund would also have been great, although the issue was not with the owner at all. Beautiful house and great location!

The property was better than any property we have ever stayed in. The owner was available and very responsive. The home was well furnished and clean and we lacked nothing. Our family of 11 (5 children, 5 years and under) had plenty of room and was very comfortable. Perfect family vacation! The beach is very easy to access, the pool is convenient and perfect for new swimmers and adults. The property had plenty of beach chairs and toys for our use. This house had incredible views of both the sunrise and the sunset! If you are looking for a quiet, clean, perfectly located beach home for your family, look no further. This is definitely the perfect one!

I cannot say enough about this house. Fantastic sun rise and so sunset views. Great view of the ocean and marsh. The house was spotless. The kitchen was the best equipped of any rental we have ever stayed at. Everyone in the party had a we wonderful time. Highly recommended.

The house exceeded expectations and provided all needed amenities and space. Great family vacation rental with community pool, golf cart, ease of instructions and homeowners were very responsive. The house location has marsh and sound views and bird sanctuaries on the island. The ocean was a one mile drive to a state park and the cost was 65 for the week. The only down side to this property was needing to drive to see the ocean. There were no ocean views or ocean access from the house.

Everything We Were Looking For

Sea Psalms has everything that we were looking for! The beautiful home has plenty of space for our family gatherings both inside and out while still having places for privacy and quiet time. Having both beach and marsh views allowed us to enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets. The house was well equipped, and communication with the owner was easy.

Great family vacation

The house is large and roomy... we have a large family- it was great to all be able to sit at the same table for dinners! The views are fantastic and the porches are great to sit on. The beach is perfect to walk on even when its a windy day. I was exceptionally lucky and saw a sea turtle laying her eggs.

Relaxing for the entire family!

Our large family loved this home! We had plenty of room for everyone and the views were breathtaking! Just steps from the beach made it so simple for the little kids and adults. We loved this location and the beach was gorgeous!

My family owned a house on harbor Island for 30 years, such a beautiful place. I have always admired this home. The decks around the house offer beautiful views of beach and marsh. House is across the street from beach access 6. This is the best equipped house we have ever rented. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, and bake. Has a Keurig. Serve wear for 12. Large table that seats 10! Outdoor screened in patio table. Lots of beach toys and chairs in the shed. You cant fully enjoy Harbor Island without a golf cart, and we appreciated that with the rental. Thanks for sharing your home.

Wow! Great Island

We absolutely loved our stay in this house on Harbor Island. It was almost like having a private beach. Even though the house wasn’t ocean front, it was very close to the beach access and had amazing ocean views and marsh views. I highly recommend and plan to come back again. The rooms were all set up nicely to accomodate our three families and kids.

Delightful FAMILY VACATION

The house is very well stocked with all the items needed for a very comfortable stay. Location was great and the amenities at the Harbor Island club facilities were great. Our group of 11 all thoroughly enjoyed this property. Hope to be back next year.

What wonderful memories❣️

Grammy & Grandpa rented this for a week for our children & grands. It was truly the best vacation we have spent together. Everyone was thrilled with all the amenities & wonderful accommodations. The house is gorgeous & everyone fell in love with bocce ball & other games. Each night we all sat around the huge table & played games. The beach is awesome and quiet. Wonderful memories were had by all.

Guys Fishing Weekend

What a great experience celebrating my son's upcoming wedding with several of his friends. This is our 3rd time staying at this location and it did not disappoint. The house is setup for entertaining and relaxing. It is well equipped with just about anything you need. Just a short walk across to the beach and the fishing was great. No major issues but the owner was quick to answer any needs we had. We will be back and would recommend to anyone who wants to visit.

House was gorgeous, only complaint, I couldn’t find a drying pan that didn’t stick and the rugs in the home were a hazard for some as ends were curled but we will book again in 2-3 years!!

Spring Break

House was great - better than the photos. Water front location was a little misleading and the rules about AC should be explained ahead of time. Very frustrating to not be able to at least open a window if AC expectations are 72 degrees. We would have been very unhappy if it was warmer out.

Lovely place to ring in the new year

We loved our stay at Sea Psalms! We were four couples and the home provided plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped and the decks were full of comfy seats and provided peaceful views and quiet time. Access to the golf cart was a plus. Keith was very responsive to any queries.

Thanksgiving trip

Very very nice location, very close to the beach and beautiful views. A little far from town but perfect to relax and reset. Wonderful experience!

We grew up on the South Carolina coast and are life-long South Carolinians. We had driven 'by' Harbor Island several times going to Fripp Island, but never noticed Harbor because it was a private island and you couldn't get on the island unless you were a homeowner or guest of one. A friend purchased a place there and we rented from him in 2004 and loved the solitude of the beach, quaintness of the island and all the wildlife. On our second day of vacation, we were looking at property and bought our property later that year. We took a year to design the house for multiple families and settled on a 5 BR - 5 BA home that was completed in the summer of '06. Since that time, we have sold out each summer and are delighted to call many of them 'repeat guests'!

Recently, we read in the April '10 edition of Southern Living Magazine that they had selected Harbor Island as the 'Best Secret Beach for Families' saying 'Harbor Island feels far away from it all, but not too fare from the amenities that make a good family trip'. The magazine goes on to describe Harbor as a '...Lowcountry isle is a quiet place, with 3 miles of secluded beach visited mostly by pelicans, herons, and horseshoe crabs. Each day here begins with a sunrise that turns the Atlantic into a pink sea framed by golden marsh grasses.' It looks like we have been 'found out'! Hope you can come and enjoy some of our unspoiled beauty as our guests.

We love the positioning of our house...you can stand in the kitchen and see the marsh out of the back windows and the ocean out of the front windows. You can actually see Editsto while standing in our kitchen. We love our proximity to the beach (right across the street) and the quietness of the West End of the island. There are only 4 rental houses north of us, so the beaches are always VERY quiet...you feel like you have the place to yourself every day! We love the wildlife all over the island, watching the dolphins dance and watching the shrimp boats ease by.....very peaceful.
