The pearl of the Lysefjord - the boathouse at Prekestolen

This is a fantastic, distinctively styled boathouse-style cabin in the outer Lysefjord area, featuring high standards and practical design solutions. The property enjoys a beautiful waterfront location with its own private jetty right in front. Parking is available directly behind the cabin. The cabin measures 120 square meters.

Well-equipped with a living room fireplace and four bedrooms, this is an ideal spot for the whole family. Boat and canoe rentals are available, and use of paddleboards and golf sets is free of charge.

There is a swimming area with a sandy beach right by the cabin, as well as a Jacuzzi on the terrace.

The Location
The cabin is centrally located, whether you wish to spend your days shopping, fishing, hiking spectacular trails like Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), Kjerag, and the Flørli Stairs, or playing golf at the Preikestolen Golf Club’s 9-hole course—just a 15-minute drive away.

There are also many other marked hiking trails in the immediate area, such as Uburen, Hatten, Hesten, Skjerajuvet, and more. You can search for hikes using the "UT" app or website. We have created a hiking guide featuring many great routes in the Lysefjord area, which you will find inside the cabin.

Head to Jørpeland for shopping and consider a visit to Jørpelandsholmen while you are there; the island also features a 9-hole disc golf course (Preikestolen Disc Golf).

Lysefjord Marina, which includes a Joker grocery store, is located in Forsand, and the Landa Open-Air Museum (Iron Age village) is nearby.

The Property

Ground floor:
Living room, hallway, and kitchen with dining space for 8 people; bathroom with toilet, shower, washing machine, and tumble dryer.
Bedroom 4: 180 cm double bed and wardrobe space.
Internet radio.

Second floor:
Loft living room/Bedroom 3 with TV and corner sofa. German, English and Norwegian TV channels via Altibox.
Bunk bed (80 cm mattresses on both top and bottom).

Bedroom 2: 150 cm double bed and a 90 cm single bed.

Bedroom 1: 140 cm double bed.

Terrace with Jacuzzi (water temperature approx. 38°C), garden furniture, and gas grill.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

Parking:
There are two parking spaces directly above the cabin, marked "Hamn 49," including an EV charger.

Other things to note:

A red Hasle Summer Fun boat with a 9.9 HP outboard motor and a stable canoe/kayak are available for rent.
The boat and canoe are unavailable from approx. October 1st to April 1st. Rental prices: Boat NOK 500/day + fuel; canoe NOK 200/day. Rentals must be ordered at least one day prior to arrival.

The fuel tank can be refilled at Lysefjord Marina in Forsand (docking available).

Two paddleboards are available for use.

Life jackets in various sizes are available.
