The house is designed to give you the perfect holiday home atmosphere with functionality and space for spending time together. It is ideal for families who want a peaceful holiday with everything close by.
The home has two good bedrooms with double beds and a large new bathroom with underfloor heating and shower. The interior is charming with an open kitchen, dining and living area where everyone can gather and relax after the day’s activities. The living room is a natural meeting place for meals, games and cosy evenings. A sofa bed in the living room provides two additional sleeping places.
The kitchen includes a cooktop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, air fryer, blender, Nespresso coffee machine and electric kettle.
From the living room you step out onto the fantastic 90 m² wooden terrace and further into a large private fenced garden with its own shelter for overnight stays (air mattresses are available in the house) and a small fire pit. The living room doors can be opened completely to connect the terrace and indoor space.
Here you can enjoy sunny holiday days in peaceful surroundings with barbecue evenings, relaxation in the lounge furniture or conversations around the garden table. The garden invites relaxation, play and quality time, with many games available in the house. On the side of the house there is an outdoor shower for when you return from the beach.
Shops and the town square are only 200 m away and quickly become part of your holiday. Marielyst Beach, often voted Denmark’s best beach, is just 800 m away. It is child-friendly and perfect for swimming, beach life and relaxing walks along the coast on the dike. The white sandy beach stretches for 20 km.
Public transport is only 100 m from the house and bicycle rental is also available there. On Marielyst Strandvej, just 200 m away, you will find the supermarkets Rema 1000 and Netto, as well as bakeries, restaurants, cafés, shops and a large indoor play centre. The town also offers many ice cream shops.
In the evening, Larsens Plads becomes a lively place where people gather for dinner, drinks and good company.
Close to the house you will find golf, mini golf, go-karts, paintball, bowling and more. Marielyst Golf Club is Denmark’s southernmost golf course with an exciting 18-hole course and Pay & Play.
In Marielyst you can also rent bicycles, ATVs and Segways. In summer the beach hosts yoga and dance activities such as salsa. In Bøtø you can visit a farm shop or walk in the nature reserve. Every Wednesday in summer there is a classic car gathering worth visiting.
At the beach you will find activities such as SUP, surfing, canoeing, kayaking and jet skiing.
