The Location
Surrounded by the magnificent shores of Pagasitikos and embraced by lush nature, the village of Afissos is a lively summer resort and is very close to some of the most popular villages in the area. The island color is harmoniously combined with the Pelion elements. According to tradition, the Argonauts drank water from the famous spring that springs up in the central square of the village before starting their journey to Colchis. The houses are amphitheatrically built with a wonderful view to the sea. The coastal road is full of small hotels, rooms for rent, taverns, ouzo bars, restaurants, cafes and bars. You can enjoy your swim at Kallifteri, Lagoudi and Abovo beaches. Kallifteri beach is located at the entrance of the village and is an organized beach with water sports.
