The flat has a unique location on the beach at Viking Bay, a fantastic sandy beach in the heart of Broadstairs. It’s accessed by one flight of stairs from ‘The Parade’ (a pedestrian path), and has amazing sea and beach views. Guests can relax on the balcony whilst watching the boats pass by. This property sleeps two people and is a great location for a coastal getaway. The flat is part of historic Eagle House (prev Admiral House) where the news of Wellingtons victory at Waterloo was announced.
We live round the corner and are a phone call away if you need us.
Broadstairs is a true gem with unspoilt Victorian frontage it is quaint and full of seaside sparkle. It has a harbour with fishing boats that still go out everyday -you can watch them from the flat and buy their catch from the fishmonger in the high st. And of course you must visit Morellis ice cream parlour - just along The Parade serving Italian ice cream in Broadstairs since 1906.
The flat has everything you need for a fabulous stay and even has a wine fridge! The views are truly spectacular and you are in the heart of the town surrounded by great restaurants - we will leave some recommendations.
Please note, the apartment is directly on the beach. This is a lively beach location, you will be able to hear visitors on the beach and surrounding sea side activities. Eagle House apartments are mostly holiday rentals, it is likely that you will hear neighbourhood noise due to the unique setting.
Everything you need is in walking distance we also have great bus service and local train station. We will leave you all the info in the flat. When the tide is out you can walk along the beach to Ramsgate and Margate our neighbouring towns. Fabulous walks and spectacular views.
Broadstairs and the local area have some fantastic restaurants which are best booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
