The charming Scoutstugan is quietly located behind Od's former mission church - a place with history and soul, originally built for the parish's scout camp. Today, the church has been carefully converted into an inspiring interior design shop run by the host couple, who also live nearby and are happy to help if you need anything during your stay.



The house offers modern and homely accommodation with a cozy fireplace that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere all year round. There are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with two single beds. In addition, there is a separate sleeping area with a curtain and a sofa bed suitable for an adult and a child.



The private plot invites you to relax and spend quiet moments in natural surroundings, with a terrace, outdoor furniture and a barbecue.



The house will be updated with new furniture and interior design for the summer of 2026. Please note that details in the pictures may differ slightly from reality, but the standard and quality will be the same.



Things to see and do in the area (Od & Alboga)



Enjoy a rural idyll with beautiful nature, beech forests and charming farm shops. Here you will find unique interior design, local crafts, flowers and delicacies - perfect for a cozy excursion.

Visit farm shops that offer interior design, chocolate, plants and local products. Don't miss the popular book café with homemade coffee, food and cultural events.

Hiking trails start right behind the house. Discover scenic rounds around lakes, beech forests and waterfalls. The area is just as suitable for hiking as cycling and offers several swimming spots.

Child-friendly swimming area at Lake Sandsken within walking distance. There are great fishing opportunities in nearby lakes.

Excursions

Take day trips to Tran¬dansen at Lake Hornborgasjön or skiing in Ulricehamn in winter.



Good to know about the accommodation

A deposit of 3000 SEK will be charged on the day of arrival and refunded one week after departure if the house is left in an acceptable condition.

Electricity costs are additional: 500 SEK/week during the period 1 June – 1 October and 1000 SEK/week during the period 2 October – 1 June

Final cleaning is not offered, guests clean themselves upon departure
