Welcome to a mountain adventure at Indalsälven! In an idyllic and secluded location in the middle of nature, just a stone's throw from Tångböleströmmen, lies this unique place. Here you can enjoy the Jämtland mountain world that offers plenty of activities for the adventurous. The accommodation consists of a main cabin and a guest cabin with a total of six beds. The main cabin has a bedroom with a double bed, two living rooms with a panoramic view of Tångböleströmmen, a spacious and modern kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and incineration toilet. The guest cabin has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. The road takes you close, and the last part of about 350m you walk along an easily accessible path to the cabin. Once there, you are greeted by tranquility, closeness to nature and a feeling of being far away from the pace of everyday life. The cottage has a magical location with the river right outside. The rapids end a short distance from the cottage, so the water is calmer here and it is nice to take a dip right from the edge of the garden. There is a sandy beach in Åre, and Gevsjön also offers shallow swimming. Right outside the junction, fishing, berry and mushroom picking await you during the summer months and into the fall, as well as skiing and snowmobile excursions during the winter. Fishing permits can be purchased in Duved or online. A short drive will take you to a variety of adventures! How about rafting or fishing in the Tångböleströmmen stream, fly fishing in Gevsjön, canoeing in Ånnsjön, mountain hiking in Storulvån, alpine skiing in Åre/Duved and Storlien, and world-class bird watching! Ristafallet, one of Sweden's largest waterfalls, is located in the Åre River, Tennforsen. Handöl's soapstone museum shows the history of soapstone mining and the famous Carolinian train. Hike the Jämtland Triangle, cycle in Åre Bike Park and ride an Icelandic horse in Meråker in Norway - the experiences are just waiting for you! In Duved (17.5km) there are a lot of shops, restaurants and cafes. Large purchases of food and necessities are best done in the shopping center located at Storlien border trade (35km) towards Norway.
