With its charming fishing communities scattered around the coastline, Scotland's northeast coast is a hidden gem and a great place to explore. There is a busy working harbour at MacDuff. The town itself has a lot to offer, including a wide variety of stores and fine dining establishments. A trip to the MacDuff Aquarium is a must to witness the species present in the Moray Firth's waters. The Royal Tarlair course presents a challenge for golfers because it is built on sheer cliffs and lost balls are never found!
