THE PANORAMIC SPA — included in all bookings
A private spa with hydromassage installed on the large covered panoramic terrace, with 180° views over the mountains of central Portugal. Available at your leisure, included in all bookings. Bathrobes and slippers provided for all guests.

THE COVERED PANORAMIC TERRACE
A covered panoramic terrace of approximately 80 m² with large solid wood beams and decorative lights. Two distinct areas: a lounge zone and a dining area with direct views over the hills. The sunset from this terrace is simply unforgettable.

THE INTERIOR — Boutique-hotel style décor
A Encantada is a whole house with a unique character: corridors lined with traditional Portuguese tiles, green varnished ceilings, crystal chandeliers, botanical and floral wallpapers in every room, wrought iron beds.

THE BEDROOMS
Three bedrooms with distinct visual personalities: two double bedrooms for adults and one bedroom with a single bed suited for 2 children. Hotel-quality bed linen. Capacity: 6 people maximum (4 adults + 2 children).

THE KITCHEN
Green professional kitchen with central island, floor-to-ceiling cupboards, stone fireplace and crystal chandelier. Fully equipped.

Occasional romantic getaways available: gourmet hamper with local products from the Coimbra region and Portuguese prosecco offered on arrival, rose petals. Minimum duration: 2 nights.

Alqueve, parish of Folques, municipality of Arganil, district of Coimbra. Nearby: Serra do Açor, village of Piódão, Fraga da Pena waterfall, river beaches. Coimbra 50 min away. Porto and Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) 1h45 away.

A peaceful and charming house in Alqueve, Folques (Arganil), surrounded by the stunning landscapes of central Portugal. Guests can enjoy nearby river beaches, perfect for swimming and relaxing during the warmer months, as well as scenic hiking trails through the Serra do Açor.

The area is close to picturesque villages such as Piódão and natural attractions like Fraga da Pena waterfall, offering a true immersion in nature. With its tranquility, fresh air, and beautiful mountain views, it’s an ideal retreat for those looking to unwind and explore the authentic countryside.

The nearest train station, Oliveira do Hospital (Linha da Beira Alta – nearest rail access via connecting stations), is approximately a 25–30 minute drive from the property, offering connections to regional and national destinations.

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) in Porto is about a 1 hour 45 minute drive from the property, depending on traffic.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
