The house was nice clean and spacious. The location was little further from Antigua than expected. The actual walking time to the center of Antigua was longer than indicated on the listing. We had a car the first night, so we drove to the center. During the day we got a ride to the center and walked and took a tuk tuk back to the house.

Our family recently stayed at this property in Antigua, and we found several aspects of our stay to be highly satisfactory. The house is situated in an excellent location—tucked away from the noisy, popular tourist zones, yet nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood where we experienced absolutely no issues. Furthermore, the property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained upon our arrival.However, we encountered significant discrepancies regarding the advertised amenities, which were the primary factors in our decision to book this specific home. The listing indicated that both air conditioning and laundry facilities were provided. Upon check-in, we discovered there was no central or unit air conditioning available, only fans placed in each room. Additionally, rather than having access to in-house laundry facilities, we learned that laundry is handled via an external service provided by the owner at a cost of 70Q per bag.While a drop-off laundry service is a helpful amenity, the providers were away for a day during our stay. Traveling with young children makes a predictable laundry routine essential, so this gap forced us to seek out an alternative facility elsewhere to get our clothes washed, causing notable inconvenience.In summary, this is a clean, secure, and well-located home that we would recommend, but we strongly encourage the host to update the listing description to accurately reflect the reliance on room fans and the specific paid laundry service.

We stay at Villa San Lazaro at Antigua Guatemala on June 2026 for 4 days the place is very nice, sort driving to the historic center and major attractions. We use google map to navigate, and WhatsApp to communicate, with the host, Heidy was very nice and quickly respond any questions. Beautiful colonial-style home with volcano views.Safe, area with parking, WiFi, hot water, not AC, but not needed because it’s nice weather. Spacious accommodations that work well for families and groups, at good deal price.
