Villa Ulivi By Salum
Villa Ulivi, built according to the architectural principles of Mediterranean-style homes, has features that make it unique.
Located in Torre Suda, the villa is framed by a stunning pool and a lush, meticulously maintained garden dotted with olive trees.
The veranda surrounding the villa is the ideal spot for socializing, relaxing, and enjoying lunch and dinner al fresco, as well as preparing delicious barbecues on the grill available to guests, all under the starry sky of Puglia. In addition to the spacious table and chairs, the veranda—with its wooden canopy—also features a small sitting area with sofas for reading and relaxing. Fully fenced, the villa offers parking for cars on the private driveway and two parking spaces under a large canopy.
The villa’s interiors: a living room designed for comfort
The living area opens onto large windows that flood the open-concept living room with light; it features a seating area with a TV and sofa.
From here, you enter a cozy dining room with a well-equipped kitchen: oven, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, etc.
The sleeping area is accessed via a hallway that separates the three bedrooms.
Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, a closet, and mosquito screens.
The villa has three bathrooms with showers.
The sea-view veranda on the terrace also features a small sitting area with sofas for reading and relaxing.
The garden features a beautiful pool and a sunbathing area with lounge chairs.
The villa is fully fenced and has parking for cars on the private driveway.
NEARBY:
Torre Suda is a quiet and authentic seaside town on the Ionian coast, ideal as a strategic base:
- crystal-clear water and low cliffs
- less hustle and bustle than Gallipoli
- great for families, couples, and slow tourism
- a central location for exploring all of southern Salento
The center of Torre Suda features a church worth visiting, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and shops, as well as a pedestrian/bike path that runs along the entire coastal stretch of the town.
The area is near Gallipoli, just a few minutes’ drive away, as is Torre San Giovanni, a town renowned for its long, golden-sand beaches.
A 15-minute drive takes you to: the historic center on the island, famous beaches (Baia Verde, Punta della Suina), restaurants, bars, and the nightlife of the “Pearl of the Ionian Sea” (Gallipoli)
The nearest beaches are Lido Pizzo, about 5 kilometers away, and Punta della Suina, about 7 kilometers away (less than a 10-minute drive).
Nature lovers, on the other hand, can explore the nearby Porto Selvaggio Nature Park, a fascinating protected area featuring pine forests, scenic trails, and coves with crystal-clear waters.
Continuing south, you’ll reach some of Salento’s most iconic beaches, such as Pescoluse—known as the “Maldives of Salento”—famous for its white sand and shallow, crystal-clear waters, making it ideal for families as well. A little further south lies Santa Maria di Leuca, where the Ionian Sea meets the Adriatic Sea, renowned for its scenic lighthouse, sea caves, and breathtaking landscapes.
Thanks to its central location, the villa is the ideal starting point for a well-rounded and varied stay, alternating days at the beach and relaxation with cultural, nature, and food-and-wine excursions to discover the most authentic traditions and landscapes of Salento.
