Welcome to this charming cottage in Lye on southern Gotland! A pleasant two-storey cottage located on a lush, green plot that invites both play and relaxation. You will stay in a charming house with a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, and comfortable sleeping arrangements with two beds and a crib on the ground floor. On the upper floor you will find a second bedroom with two beds. There is also a lounge area with a single bed and a sofa bed, which connects to a lovely balcony and a sleeping loft. In the sleeping loft, it is especially pleasant to sleep during the summer; here you will find a double bed and two single beds. Although this accommodation welcomes a maximum of 7 guests, there are more beds available, giving you the flexibility to choose where you would like to sleep. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. This is a perfect base for exploring southern Gotland and all its treasures from magical beaches and fishing villages to local shops, limestone formations, and much more. Within easy reach you will find Ljugarn, a lively summer destination where you can swim at a beautiful sandy beach, enjoy good food, stroll through local shops, and admire the limestone formations. Well worth a visit! Don’t miss a trip to Närsholmen for its beautiful, rugged nature. Heading all the way south, you reach Hoburgen, where you can see the famous “Hoburgsgubben” rock formation, enjoy scenic walks, and dine well at Holmhällar. Along the western coast you can admire the small and large Karlsö islands, beautifully situated off the Eksta coast. For those traveling with children, don’t miss Kneippbyn, home to Pippi Longstocking’s summer world and water park. The nearby Gotland Zoo is also worth a visit. And be sure to travel north to Visby to stroll through the rose-filled alleys of the medieval town, surrounded by the impressive city wall.
