The house is situated in a very beautiful area. We hiked a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the diversity in landscapes and view. The house itself was very impressive with large round windows and artsy design. The matresses were a bit soft to our liking, but other than that, the stay was perfect.

We had a wonderful few days in this truly unique house. Everything went smoothly, and communication with the owner was very prompt and helpful. The house is in a league of its own :-) and the area has plenty to offer in terms of outdoor activities, so we’ll definitely be back.

Charlotte's vacation home was truly special. You can tell it was decorated by a Danish artist. There was so much to discover inside the house, and the view of the forest from the huge round windows is breathtaking. The area is beautiful and shows that Denmark has more to offer than just the sea and flat countryside. We felt completely at home and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Charlotte responded quickly every time. For us, it was the most special vacation home we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. ❤️

An absolutely wonderful place. Peaceful and private surroundings. A house with so much history and character. A true gem nestled in the most beautiful natural setting, with a very kind host. Everything you need for a magical getaway. Highly recommended.

It was clean and very well-equipped, which we really appreciated. However, we were quite surprised to find that there was no bedroom, and that two of the sleeping areas were in the living room. Once the grass and bushes outside have grown in, it will be a lovely place.

It’s a lovely house and a wonderful area. We enjoyed our stay, though we wish we’d been informed that our dog—who’s used to sleeping in the same room as us—wasn’t allowed in the sleeping area. In addition, we felt we had to be extra careful in the kitchen with the countertop, which apparently couldn’t withstand water or grease, so we had to be quite careful not to get it wet or greasy. But it’s a lovely place, no doubt about it. However, we wouldn’t have chosen this vacation home if the description provided in the house had been available online when booking. We think it would be a good idea to make that information available online so guests are aware of the conditions before they arrive.
