Small mountain cabin in pastoral area by Syndin

Foxbu is a small but cleverly designed cabin of about 30 m²—perfect for those who appreciate quality, smart design, and being close to nature. Here you’ll find everything you need: one bedroom with a Tempur mattress topper and a loft with two wide mattresses, a bathroom, and an open-concept kitchen and living room. This is the place for active guests who want an authentic mountain experience without compromising on comfort.



The kitchen is modern and well-equipped for up to four people, featuring a dishwasher, oven, stove, and refrigerator with freezer. The living room features flexible furniture from Slettvoll, with a combination of dining area and sofa where you can both sit comfortably and relax. The large window in the end wall offers a fantastic view of the mountains, Søre Syndin, and Grønsennknippa. A TV and board games are available.



The cabin is situated in a sunny and sheltered spot, with plenty of space for outdoor activities and a campfire. Here you can enjoy the fantastic views and the tranquility of the surroundings. A storage shed with equipment such as a shovel and fire pan is available. Fresh, clean mountain water from a private shared water supply. Private sewage system—water consumption should be moderate, and unnecessary water use should be avoided.



Foxbu is located at Syndin, approx. 1,000 meters above sea level, in the heart of one of Norway’s most beautiful mountain farming areas in Valdres. Here, cows and horses graze freely in the summer. The area offers hiking and summit hikes right outside the door, cycling along Mjølkevegen, swimming in mountain lakes, and ski tours from Gilafjell in the winter. Syndinstøga serves food in season, and in the village you’ll find local specialties such as rakfisk and game.
