Lady Lovell Cottage, 10 min walk to Burford - Pass the Keys

Welcome to my peaceful country cottage near Burford within The Cotswolds.

Relax by the fire in the cosy living room or entertain in the kitchen and separate dining area with log burner.

Upstairs you'll find two double bedrooms served by a stunning stylish bathroom. Outside is a cosy terrace with seating.

With countryside walks on the doorstep and the bustling Cotswold village of Burford a short stroll away, it’s the perfect escape for couples, friends or families to eat, sleep & unwind!

Enter through the rear porch into the country kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has all modern amenities including:

From the kitchen, step up into the cosy snug with seating and a record player with a healthy vinyl collection to browse through during your stay.

The chic country style dining area beyond hosts a large dining table comfortably seating 4 guests and also features a log burner.

The cosy living room complete with a biofuel natural fire, Smart TV (own subscriptions required for streaming services) and super comfy seating, offers the perfect spot to unwind after a long day exploring the area.

Beyond the dining area is a small utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. There is also a downstairs WC.

Upstairs, you'll discover two generously proportioned double bedrooms:

The master bedroom offers a king-size bed (5'0" x 6'6") with built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table.

Bedroom 2 provides a comfortable double bed (4'6" x 6'3") with built-in wardrobe.

The bedrooms share access to the sumptious bathroom, with a freestanding roll-top bath and stunning shower enclosure with stylish mosaic walls.

Completing the picture is a peaceful terrace to the rear with seating for 4 and an outdoor table, perfect for al fresco dining.

There is one private parking space on the driveway to the side of the property. Additional parking is available on the quiet road opposite.

There are many countryside walks directly from the doorstep with Burford a 10 minute walk away. The Farmer's Dog pub is 3 miles away, Estelle Manor is 14 miles with Blenheim Palace & Woodstock around 25 minutes away.

The cottage is also well located in the stunning Cotswolds AONB with the charming villages of Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold just 15 minutes away.

My detached cottage and the outdoor space as described is exclusively available to guests.

There is a small room downstairs, a couple of cupboards upstairs and the outdoor shed are locked for my personal use.

My home is in a quiet close knit neighbourhood, so strictly no parties allowed please. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am.

Standard check-in time is from 4pm onwards and check-out time is by 10am. We may be able to offer a later check-out or earlier check-in for an extra cost via prior arrangement only.

Strictly no smoking or vaping indoors please.

Sorry, no pets allowed.

The cottage is located on the edge of the A361 road, however, it is very quiet indoors so any road noise shouldn't impact your stay.

As with many older cottages, the occasional cobweb can appear despite our best efforts to clear them. If you do happen to spot any, please just let us know - we’ll keep working hard to ensure the cottage is always clean and welcoming for our guests.

A starter pack of logs & kindling and one bottle of bioethanol fuel are provided from October-March. If you wish to use the fires more often, we suggest purchasing more logs/fuel for your stay.

There is a gas BBQ available for guest use, please request this in advance to ensure the gas bottle is supplied.

We can supply a travel cot & high chair for an additional cost of £25 per stay, please kindly request these at the time of booking. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.

Bed linen, toiletries and 1 bath towel per guest + 1 hand towel per bathroom are provided along with a welcome pack of essentials including tea/coffee/sugar/milk sachets and snacks.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property. p
