Welcome to this lovely vacation home, which features a large terrace and a beautiful 1,200 m² garden where flowers, grass, and the vegetable garden thrive side by side. It’s the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy the peace and quiet.



Inside, you’ll find a new kitchen, a lovely sunroom, and cozy bedrooms. On chilly days, the wood-burning stove spreads warmth throughout the house. The separate annex provides extra space for overnight guests, so the whole family or friends can join in.



The 1,200 m² garden is perfect for relaxation and play. The large terrace invites you to spend long summer days outdoors, and the vegetable garden lets you harvest fresh vegetables and herbs for dinner.



In the area, you’ll find cozy cafes like Cafe K by van Noort with homemade baked goods and Café Korn, which serves brunch and burgers. Masami Sushi and Ebisu Sushi offer delicious rolls, while Kabyssen – The Pantry by the harbor serves fish & chips with a view.

There were two of us staying in this cozy vacation...

There were two of us staying in this cozy vacation home, and overall we felt very comfortable there. It offers a surprising amount of comfort for a typical log cabin. However, because of the way it’s built, spiders often find their way inside at night—anyone who’s afraid of spiders should be aware of this. We especially liked being able to use the large garden and the small vegetable patches. Communication with Henrik was excellent. Since we had overlooked the fact that bed linens and towels weren’t provided, he helped us out at the last minute—thank you very much for that! A few minor things could be improved: The espresso machine shown in the listing wasn’t there. Some of the chairs are starting to show their age. The cushions for the sunroom and the outdoor area have mold stains and smell musty, probably because the sunroom leaks a bit when it rains. Also, a shower curtain would be useful so the bathroom doesn’t get completely wet when showering.
