Welcome to Rondeblikk, a historic log cabin from around 1850 that was originally moved from the valley up to the mountain wilderness. From here, you have a magnificent view of Rondane in the south with 10 peaks over 2,000 meters above sea level, and the Snøhetta massif in the west. The solid log walls provide the setting for unforgettable days with family and friends.
The cabin has three bedrooms and is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer for practical comfort. The wood-burning stove and open fireplace provide cozy warmth and atmosphere on cool mountain evenings. With beds made and cleaning included, you can just arrive and enjoy your stay.
From the cabin, you are immediately up on the snow-covered mountains with all the peaks in front of you. The area has been described as Norway's best-kept secret, with the rare beautiful mountain landscape that surrounds you. This is the starting point for both demanding mountain hikes and pleasant family trips in magnificent nature.
Explore Einunddalen, Norway's longest mountain valley, and beautiful Kakkeldalen. Open shelters and huts with the possibility of accommodation and fishing make the area particularly attractive. A bike ride into Einunddalen or Grimsdalsen offers a truly unique nature experience. At Rondeblikk, you will find several tour descriptions to enjoy.
