Strandhuset is located at Slettestrand in Fjerritslev. Here, in the rolling, heather-covered landscape, you can spend some wonderful days and create new vacation memories. The house is decorated with natural elements that will envelop you in a peaceful atmosphere. The kids are sure to have fun with some of the toys, while the surrounding area offers great opportunities for the whole family to get out and feel at one with nature.



As soon as you step inside the house, you’ll notice the open feel of the kitchen-dining area, which features a vaulted ceiling. Both in the kitchen and at the dining table, you can gaze out at the hills while you cook or enjoy a delicious dinner. Afterward, you can all gather in the cozy sofa area around the TV. When you unpack, you can put your clothes in the beautiful, old wardrobe in the master bedroom, while the kids can find toys in the closet in one of the other rooms or climb up to explore the loft.

On the lovely terrace that wraps around the house, you can enjoy the sun all day long while listening to the sound of the North Sea. Take your breakfast outside and let the aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingle with the scent of heather. You can settle into the lounge chairs and gaze up at the blue sky while admiring the beautiful swallows. The attached shed holds more toys for the kids as well as the cottage’s grill.



If you feel like venturing off the property, you can pack a picnic basket and head down to the quiet beach, where you can have lunch in the dunes or play beach tennis at the water’s edge while the kids swim in the lovely North Sea. In the area, you’ll also find fantastic local gems, including Svinkløv Badehotel, where you can enjoy a delicious slice of layer cake, or you can head to Fiskehuset Ved Thorup Strand, where you can savor a fresh fish patty while watching the fishing boats. If you’re into mountain biking, Slettestrand has one of Northern Europe’s longest trails with plenty of fun challenges.
