The cabin has plenty of outdoor seating that can be used all year round, so you can move from one place to another and enjoy the sun all day. If you want to relax in the shade on a hot summer's day, you can lie in the hammock and listen to the leaves rustling in the wind and the birds chirping.



Gressvik offers many cultural heritage sites such as Kjøkøy Fort and Torgauten Fort from the Second World War, and Strømtangen Lighthouse from 1859. You'll find the Glufsa lookout point right next to the cabin, and in summer you can walk to the popular Foten swimming spot. If you want, you can take the short drive to the center of Fredrikstad where you can explore the cozy Old Town.



It's important to point out that there is no road to the cabin. It's a 30-minute walk from the parking lot at Foten badeplass to the cabin. So grab your family by the hand and find this authentic cabin after a nice walk.
