Peaceful log cabin by the fjord on Ytterøy

Welcome to Østerli Søndre, a private sanctuary by the fjord. Here you can enjoy the silence and nature, surrounded by deer and eagles, and with the chance to experience killer whales in the fjord. The cabin is located on the peaceful island of Ytterøy, a place where everyday stress feels far away. The ferry connection from Levanger takes approx. 35 minutes.



The interior of the cabin is a mix of old and new, with narrow paneling, timber walls and wallpaper providing an authentic atmosphere. The cabin has been refurbished with respect for its history, and many of the furnishings are also from older times. This is a place where history lives.



Outside the cabin, a private beach awaits, where you can relax and enjoy the fantastic view of the fjord. There are several seating areas around the property, perfect for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine as the sun goes down.



Ytterøy has a lot to offer, whether you prefer fishing from the pier, picking mushrooms in the forest, cycling around the island, or visiting the historic mining tunnels. After a day of activities, you can take a cooling swim in the sea or warm up in the sauna at the ferry landing.
