Not far from Denmark's southernmost tip at Gedser, you'll find this charming little red cottage located in the wild forest area of Bøtø, where migratory birds pass over bogs, crooked trees and beautiful, unspoiled nature areas. Here you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and let yourself be enchanted by the relaxed atmosphere in the cottage and the feeling that you have all the time in the world to enjoy nature and each other.
The cottage exudes charm and is decorated in a personal style with heirlooms, flea market finds and recycled gold. Little touches of color light up the old house, where the soul and spirit of the 60s can still be felt in the small retro kitchen and the lovely living room, where you can enjoy games and chat. The house itself is a small oasis of 35m2, but it's really well-appointed. The bedroom in the house and the annex are small oases furnished with fine old finds, and here you can go to sleep to the sound of the wind whispering in the treetops outside the open window.
The covered terrace creates a lovely outdoor space where you can eat your meals, curl up with a good book, and even when it rains, you can work on creative projects to the sound of the drops drumming on the roof. The garden's beautiful old trees provide cool shade, wonderful scents and gorgeous flowers depending on the wind, weather and season. When you want to go to the beach, just take a 15-minute stroll along the cozy cottage roads and you'll find yourself with your toes in the sand, ready to jump in the waves.
