The electronic lock wasn’t working when we arrived. We called, emailed, sent text to owner and property manager. We sat in our car over an hour waiting to get in after a long drive. It sounds like it’s an ongoing issues that never really gets addressed. Every time we left property, we had challenges getting back in. We also had microaggressive experiences with neighbors in the complex that were racist. I am guessing they may be owners or friends of the unit owner, because as soon as they saw us walking our small maltipoo dog, we got an email from the owner saying we would be fined. We had indicated on our reservation we would have a small dog and the property was dog friendly. Apparently not for gay people of color. We stayed a couple of times in the main area of this complex before and never had problems. All around there were problems with the unit. I followed up with property management multiple times asking for compensation due to repeatedly getting locked out and the smoke alarms keeping us up all night. They kept saying they were looking into it. Shockingly, we never heard back. I recommend you do not stay at this unit, ever.
