The area around Eidsdal offers fantastic nature experiences, such as trout fishing in Lake Eidsvatnet (remember to buy a fishing license) and the unique tourist magnet Geirangerfjord, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Head up to the secluded but stunning Storsæterfossen waterfall in Geiranger, rent a kayak and enjoy the fjord surrounded by majestic mountains. In the opposite direction, you can visit Valldal, known as the "strawberry valley" where you can buy perhaps the best strawberries in Norway.
