The unit itself is very nice. Big, good layout, very clean, and well maintained. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and well explained. Location is decent, with a brief 10 minute walk or so to get to the French Quarter, with some options for dining etc. even closer. The building itself is clean and felt safe.
One big issue however... the windows do not insulate well against sound, like at all. New Orleans is a very noisy city, and between drunk people hollering, cars revving their engines and honking and playing obnoxiously loud music, emergency sirens, and construction trucks early in the morning we found it difficult to sleep. The unit is on the fifth floor but at times you feel like you are sitting on the side of the street. This goes on for a good part of the night into the early morning. So, maybe it works with earplugs or if you just pass out drunk like the rest of the city, but please be aware.
Beds were box spring mattresses. For the price, I'd expect better.
One last concern was the reservation process. It's handled via a third party company that required photos of my IDs and face. Not a big deal, except it didn't work at all and I spent a fair amount of time trying to get this processed. I eventually gave up and contacted their support (which in fairness was excellent - quick and helpful). Maybe not a huge deal, but when it was time for the second payment their website made me go through this whole process again, and again it didn't work.
