The property was fine, in a lovely peaceful situation, just as we wished for. Everything we used was in decent condition except that the shower head would not adjust to a usable height. The heating was excellent. The door between the kitchen and the stairs was really difficult to close: we eventually realised that we had to physically LIFT the door to close it properly. Now, THE TELEVISION. For the whole week we stayed, I found the TV so annoying, difficult to operate, and mind blowingly tedious to search.. This may have been in part because it was an internet tv, which I have not come across before, and I have to say would not want to ever again. We have stayed in literally hundreds of cottages of differing types, and I suppose we’ve been delighted with all of them, especially the welcome, both by the owner, and the generous welcome goodies. Neither of these happened . Not even a phone call, or a text message or email. I have not come across Easilets before, and would hesitate to use them again.Finally, the cost. We would not normally pay above 500. for a week’s stay, and this was well above that figure. To compare, last summer we rented a beautiful annexe to a lovely old French farm cottage, where the owners lived. The rental was for 2 weeks, and we paid just 20 more than this break. I’m sorry we couldn’t give a more generous review.
