My husband and I came for an extended stay in Haugesund because of the world-renown Klinikk Hausken. We needed somewhere comfortable, accessible, and close enough to the town center that we could walk if we wished (plus close to the klinikk). We got all of that and more with this house. We loved our home away from home. It was cozy when we wanted to stay in, a good base of operations if we wanted to do mini trips to Bergen, Fläm, Rovaer, etc, and we walked to eat by the water (Dock 1 was our favorite restaurant) or ordered delivery, or cooked in the nice kitchen. Well worth the price. A major plus was the hospitality of the host, Ronny. Our plans changed several times, and he was very helpful and flexible, which was kind, and he left us clear instructions to care for the home, some very nice recommendations, and he was very quick to answer when we had a question. Other than that, the beds were very comfortable, the bathtub was wonderful, and the bathroom had heated floors, which was lovely. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
