Further afield, enjoy day trips to Hexham’s historic abbey, the Roman forts along Hadrian’s Wall, or the majestic Alnwick Castle and Gardens, known for their starring role in the Harry Potter films.

Inside, the lounge is a cosy retreat, with a wood burner, Smart TV and inviting sofas for relaxed evenings in. The kitchen/diner is light and well equipped, with everything you need for home cooking – plus a table perfect for gathering around after a day out. There’s a twin bedroom and a handy separate WC on the ground floor, with two further bedrooms upstairs – a spacious double with walk-in closet, and a second twin – along with a traditional bathroom featuring a bath, shower and WC.
