Set in the village of Rushbury sitting amongst the gentle rolling hills of the Apedale Valley, between Much Wenlock and delightful Church Stretton, an area that’s perfect for exploring the outdoors with many well marked foot paths that will take you into the countryside and Shropshire hills. Shropshire offers an events calendar with many festivals and local events through the year to include The Ludlow medieval and food festival, The Ironbridge George Walking festival and Church Stretton Arts festival. The area is also rich in history with attractions within easy reach to include the Severn Valley Railway, Stokesay Castle and the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. The vibrant towns of Church Stretton, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Ludlow are within easy reach, each offering a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Set in a courtyard with another beautifully converted byre, on an established working farm. Step through the original brick archway into the barn where you will be pleased by the exposed beams and contemporary style the owners have created. The ground floor is open-plan and has been enhanced with exposed beams and stone tiled floors, with a contemporary kitchen that is well-equipped to include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. A table and chairs are set within the area and are perfect for enjoying a hearty breakfast. The cosy lounge is perfect for relaxing with friends and offers a smart TV and views onto the garden. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. So, when the sun goes down, climb the open wooden stairs to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms. A double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and a further double with garden views and en-suite shower room and WC.
Outside to the side of the barn is a seating area with table and chairs, where you can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding countryside or explore the grounds. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars.
