Old family home with a large private garden
This family home in Skagen has been in the family for four generations and is designed with one goal in mind: rest and surroundings that allow you to recharge. There are no screens and no Wi-Fi, so you can completely unwind. Large windows face the garden, while small windows facing the street keep the outside world at a distance.
The house is designed as one large common area that brings everyone together under one roof. Its east-west orientation means the sun follows the house throughout the day, casting evening light through the top window.
The garden is large, wild, and divided into different spaces and terraces, so you can move with the sun and find a spot to read, sit, or eat. In the courtyard, there’s room to play ball, relax, and have fun.
Skagen offers Grenen, the Sand-Covered Church, the Vippe Lighthouse, and Sønder Strand. Skagens Museum, the harbor, and the town’s restaurants and thrift shops are worth exploring, as is Isager Garn in Tversted.
