The cottage in Haverdal offers 54 well-planned square metres where you can live close to nature and to one another. The wild, natural grounds surround the house like a green embrace, offering complete seclusion and privacy in the courtyard and on the patio on the hill. The two bedrooms have sheer curtains instead of doors. The beds suit both adults and children: Bedroom 1 has a 120 cm wide bed (perfect for a couple or an adult with a child), and Bedroom 2 has four comfortable bunk beds. The kitchen's well-equipped (though without a dishwasher), and the bathroom opens directly onto the courtyard—a unique feature that enhances the connection to the outdoors.
Three different outdoor seating areas make it easy to follow the sun while enjoying soothing ocean views. The location's fantastic, just a 5-minute walk to the harbour and the nearest swimming spot. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the large Haverdalsstranden beach (or a few minutes by car). Dogs are warmly welcome! The property isn’t fenced in, but the large natural plot and the lovely walking trails are wonderful to explore. Dogs can also swim at the beach just below the cottage. In the area, you’ll find the sunsets at Skalleberget, the Haverdal Nature Reserve (“the troll forest”), the classic Margit’s Kiosk, and the Kattegattleden trail. Halmstad's just a 20-minute drive away. Upon arrival, we'll have the beds freshly made and towels and bath towels ready for all guests. We'll give you the Wi-Fi password at check-in, and we can arrange an electric car charger for a fee.
