Fabulous location in Ephraim, right next to Wilson's with beautiful views of the water and sunsets!!!! Located in the heart of the village and close to Peninsula Park and many other attractions. The house is so well done inside and has an amazing front porch with beautiful views.The entire house was very clean and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable! We will definitely try to book again in the future!

The Heritage House is an amazing place to stay while visiting Door County. The location and view are spectacular. We love staying at this house every year!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was as advertised - very clean, with functional kitchen that contained everything we needed. The bedrooms were all well-appointed. The bathrooms were functional. The only nit is that the master bath shower is useless for anyone who is older -- the tub is far too deep to climb into. But the other bath has a walk-in shower that works well. The location is perfect for a Door County stay - short drive to Fish Creek and Sister Bay, where there are good restaurants. And, you can't beat the one-minute walk to Wilson's for ice cream. Watching the sun set over the bay from the large front porch was a nice way to cap off every day.

House was amazing — roomy, so clean, cozy!! Only issue was staying only 3 nights. Great location and could have easily been happy and comfortable for a week of vacation. Would totally book again when we visit again from New York!

The home was lovely with enough space for us to spread out a bit and good places to gather inside and on the front porch. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Everything was just great!

Such an amazing house, we would have loved to get a tour of the whole thing- so many doors and cool areas that aren't a part of the rental. Perfect location for the ideal Door County vacation!

Relax by the Bay

Love the location. Right across from the bay. And Wilsons right next door! Check in is a breeze and house is spacious and very clean.

Location, comfort and space

This place is perfect in every way, location, space, comfort, cleanliness, room for an active family. Proximity to boating, kayaking, walking to restaurants and morning coffee, The hosts are amazingly responsive and customer service oriented. We loved it so much we booked it again for next summer.

Best place in DC!!

Love staying at this place in DC. Location is perfect. Home is warm and inviting. Front porch is great place for watching the sunset over the water and maybe having a glass of wine. I’ve rented it 3 years in a row. Hosts are GREAT!! Heaven on earth!!

Wonderful Family Vacation in Ephraim

My family had the pleasure in staying at the Heritage House in Ephraim. Walking distance from Wilson’s ice cream, the Old Post office for the fish boil, walked down Ephraim Coffee Lab and the Bad Morovian for pizza. Just a fantastic location with a lot to do in a really beautiful community. The house was great, with a nice kitchen and plenty of room. The view from the front porch was unbearable.

Wonderful Property

I can't say enough about this property. The location was good. The view of the bay was so nice. It was so clean and very well stocked. The decor was cute and fitting for the building. Our favorite part was the front porch. It had good view of water and people but we felt it was still private. It had very nice furniture and we couldn't believe how clean it was. We could hear the people at Wilson's or the other restaurant next door but it wasn't loud.

Showers

Enjoyed, but showers do not have grab bars making it dangerous for older people, especially in main bedroom. Please add those as we would like to return next year but as we are 80 plus the showers are an issue

There is a lot of traffic on the front road, it was hard to get a good night sleep

We respect this opinion but are puzzled. Many of the windows face west toward the water which means mornings can provide less light (which we don't think is a bad thing) and after noon the sun shines into the living room and master bedroom until you see the sunset over the water when that happens. We are also puzzled about the noise concern as Ephraim is known as the sleeping Village as its reputation is one of serenity and quiet. Not to be disparaging or too cute we notice this review was written at 4 am which means the individual was not sleeping at that time where we assume is his home.

Stay at Ephriam

Very clean and everything worked as promised. Only problem, and not the owner's responsibility, was the cell phone coverage on the one-mile stretch where the home is located is completely nonexistent. So, you could not use you phone or navigation systems until you left the shoreline. But the location for other purposes is wonderful.

Glad you visited and thank you for all 5'vs. Puzzled by the cell comment as Ephraim is surrounded by hidden cell towers servicing all major providers. Also, our home is in the center of Spectrum servicing and we have the highest internet speeds. Many guests conduct business during their visits. Again thank you.

Amazing and perfect!!

The house was absolutely perfect. It was exactly as described, and had a charm and feel that was in line with what the pictures describe. It is a home that was built over 100 years ago, and it was absolutely spotless. The windows, the linens, the floors - all of it was so clean you would think that it was just finished months ago. The accommodations were exactly as described and exceeded expectations. The owners were very quick to respond to simple questions (we had no issues check-in to check-out) and it felt as though we had a home away from home. I can honestly say this was an enjoyable vacation and home-away-from-home due to the fact that it was kept in immaculate condition. Property was as described - and as mentioned above, linens and towels were completely perfect. The boat dock accommodated our 21 foot open-bow speedboat easily. Bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with toilet paper, pater towel, and dishwasher needs very well. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!!
